This hotel is currently under construction in the lobby and the front of the building. However, the hotel is beautiful on the inside, and the rooms are clean and modern. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast is complementary, and Starbucks is in the same plaza (walking distance). I was in Hayward to attend my daughter's volleyball game for one day. I will definitely stay there again.

The room is just okay. The bed is super soft, uncomfortable. The housekeeping was just okay. There was hair in the shower, bathroom floor and sink which disgusted me, but I had bathroom clean and Clorox wipes with me. I don’t really know what to think about the hotel. Right now it’s just okay, super average.

They are undergoing construction right now but overall the welcome was fantastic, Alexa and her customer service skills are wasted at the front desk, she should have a much higher position as she is fantastic!

Hospitality is a top priority with the staff. The rooms are very clean, the hotel overall is absolutely immaculate considering they're doing construction around the front entrance and the lobby area.

Recently stayed at the hotel while visiting relatives in Hayward. It is very convenient to take a Lyft ride from the hotel to & from the Oakland Airport. The hotel is undergoing some renovations, but we arrived after they had finished for the day. Our room was very clean & the only noise was from some other guests who were talking quite loudly near our door. There are a small fridge, coffee maker, & other amenities available in the room. The shower has pump bottles of shampoo & conditioner & body wash, very nice scent, not overpowering. We left too early to enjoy the breakfast buffet, but it looked like a very nice variety of food items.

There is a significant portion of the interior and exterior under construction. I think the hotel should take better care to caution customers. The air quality is poor and you have to walk through a messy construction area to get to the lobby and elevators. Would think the contractor would stage it better to reduce or isolate the mess.

They should have closed this place for the renovations that are happening right now. You can barely see the front door from the exterior of the building. The gym is completely unavailable currently, leaving me frustrated and unable to exercise before work today.
When I arrived to check in, the front desk person was loudly listening to right wing political radio, and he did not make eye contact with me while I checked in.
Everything about my visit was substandard, compared to other Marriots Nationwide, where I've had a great stay.
Update: I did get a 20% off discount due to the lack of amenities from the renovations. Overall, I would have chosen a different hotel if I had known that the renovations caused such an inconvenience.

The workers here are doing an amazing job in spite of the construction work going on. Definitely prefer the weather channel or some NON BIASED T.V. station to be playing in the lobby during breakfast

But the hotel staff is doing an amazing job and all areas are made as safe as possible
