We are Ambassador level at Marriott. We checked in later in the evening. We left for the day at 8:30AM. We returned at 6pm and the room was not cleaned. I went down and spoke with a lady who identified herself as Aileen. She said our room was not cleaned as we did not request it. She was incredibly unhelpful and insolent. She was indignant and stated that it was our fault that we did not request the service. I would rate this as a 0 but that was not an option. Of note, when we checked, we were not informed that we had to request service. This is an overall disappointment.

""Good for a Short Napa Trip but Needs Updating""

As aspiring empty-nesters on our first Napa Valley trip, we stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites American Canyon for two nights. The King room with a couch provided plenty of space, but we really only needed the bed since we were mostly out exploring. The location is convenient to Napa, and we slept well, but the hotel itself is in need of some updates. It looks like they’ve started repairs, which is a good sign.

The breakfast was average; my wife had a quick bagel and coffee, but we decided to head out for breakfast the next day. While we might not stay at this specific Fairfield again, we’d definitely still consider Fairfield or Marriott for future travels. This one just didn’t fully live up to our expectations.

Very convenient location! They provided a pretty good selection of complentary breakfast 7-10a, cereals,oatmeal, make your own waffles, Yogurts, fruit, toast, bagels, scones, pre-made egg omelets, sausage and plenty of coffee. Rooms and bathrooms are clean.

Beautiful hotel, the bathroom must have just been renovated it had a beautiful sliding glass door shower. The bathroom was very clean. The love seat in our suite was brand new, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and had everything from fresh fruit to homemade cornbread. I was very pleased. The only one thing that bothered me was the comforter was not in a duvet cover but instead it just had a (clean!) thin sheet underneath and one on top of it. So on the first look the bed looked clean. The mattress was comfortable too. On closer look however in between the thin sheets was the comforter that clearly had not been washed in a while. It was greyish white with a few stains. Which was a little off putting but overall I would give this hotel 5 stars. You’re just outside of Napa and getting great service for half the price you’re paying in Napa.

At first, I was hesitant to book this location, but I'm so glad I did. There were 4 in my group, I booked 2 rooms. It was nothing fancy but clean. I encountered many employees, from housekeeping to breakfast attendants and front desk. Ms. Coral stood out the most. She was warm, welcoming, and very informative, giving us pointers on where to visit. The info she gave us made our trip even more special. Thank you, Ms. Coral, you will see us again.

Great service. Best breakfast I ever had in a hotel. You can make your waffles with a variety of toppings. It had eggs, all kind of bread and juices. It was really good.

Rooms a little outdated for the price but clean and spacious, a lot of construction going on next door so be ready to start hearing equipment running before 8 am. Otherwise the front desk/concierge were amazing, especially Coral, who kindly answered all my questions when I called a few days before arriving. Breakfast each morning was good and area was watched over at all times to ensure freshness of food and cleanliness. Pool was clean and like an oasis with all the beautiful plants surrounding it. Platypus tour bus picked us up there allowing us to enjoy our tours with out having to have a designated driver. Downtown was only a few minutes away so we were easily able to eat and shop every night of our 5 day trip. Most economic place to stay that had a pool, gym and decent location.
