The room was clean, and the beds and bathroom felt a little old and dated, but I appreciate the service and location with quick access to the interstate. Breakfast in the AM was good, and I would stay here again. Good value for amount paid.

I had to had the pleasure of getting a room here last night a few things that rub me the wrong way is upon checking in with Beth I was asked what is my reason for staying first of all its not anyone’s business why I am getting a room for the night it’s a question that shouldn’t be asked. Secondly I got to my room I didn’t have a remote had to call the front desk and of course one was brought to me…. The water temperature absolutely sucked after my workout in the gym, I was looking forward to taking a hot bath. The water does not get hot at all. It is very lukewarm I couldn’t enjoy my bath for too long because the water was starting to get cold. Last but not least in my room were two water bottles. I thought when I came in and saw them. Oh this is so nice. They gave me water so I get closer to read the little note on the bottles of water Basically, it says if you open this water, you will be charged five dollars I would not pay five dollars for a bottle of water five dollars. I can go buy a case of water luckily I brought my own water so there was no need to charge me anything I’ve never seen that before out of any hotel that I’ve stayed at. They also at some point in the middle of the night come and slide your bill under the door every hotel is different it’s a older hotel it’s average I had to clean room. The bed was comfortable I will give this place for stars just because I didn’t have adequate hot water as I wanted.

Bed spread/comforter looked like it was attacked by wild animals. No one in 2024 should be sleeping on comforters with holes and exposed batting. Not just one hole but the entire perimeter was ripped open. The ice bucket lid was dirty 🤢.

We were delighted with a free upgrade to a suite (as a Marriott member 🙂
Staff members were kind. The place was quiet, not next to busy streets which we loved. Breakfast was good; loved the mini quiches! Also, the location near Outback Restaurant was really great. We ate there both nights and enjoyed good food, great service.
I'm a frequent traveler and long-time google reviewer. Any other reviews about breakfast or $5 bottle of water in the room, just remember -- this is Marriott, not the Super 8.

Checked in late on a Friday. Friendly front desk and a quick check in: went to our room and it smelled like a smoker slept there. Called front desk and they gave me a nice new room
I felt they responded appropriately and quickly. I give them the 5 stars for the proper way to address a guest

The parking lot appears relatively safe, clean lobby. The room had a strong cat pee odor or sweat odor when we came in. Pretty low quality. Hair on the towels and not enough towels. I wouldnt stay here again. Fairfield inns can be good and some are really below average.

Stayed here a couple of nights to visit family in the suburbs before heading to Chicago. While the hotel is a little older, it’s clean, has comfy beds and congenial staff. Just off interstate with several food/gas options nearby. Reasonably priced.
