I hope they don’t forget to clean the room for the next person!

We arrived late Monday after a 16 hour driving day, we checked in with Christian and it went well. After 2 nights of no room cleaning, Wednesday morning we asked the front desk if they could clean our room they said no worries and apologized for not cleaning it after the first night. We got back to the hotel and it was as we left it🙄. Thursday morning before 7am we asked if the room could be cleaned they apologized….. again and said it would be done. 3:30 we returned to our room and it was as we left it….. we complained to the front desk and then called the Marriott line. The Marriott line called the front desk in the middle of the call and the front desk sent up towels and a bag to empty our garbage into. We left again at 4:30 and Christian at the front desk ensured us our room would be cleaned while we were out. We arrived back at our hotel around 7:30 the room still was untouched. Called the Marriott line again and complained for the second time.

Coming from a titanium member this is absurd. I stay exclusively with Marriott and this hotel has the service of your $60 special Travelodge. Probably worse.

Not to mention we asked when we checked in if we could get a room upgrade. They said nothing available Monday night but Tuesday night they had the room we wanted. We attempted to check in at 12pm,2pm,3pm, and finally at 4pm we were told the room was no longer available. We waited for…. Nothing.

Embarrassing that Christian and this hotel are tied to the Marriott name. Won’t be back to this location

Location is very convenient as there are stores and restaurants within walking distance. The room and beds were very comfortable and clean. I knocked off one star because anytime I went to the front desk there was no one there. And there is no way to alert that someone is at the front desk waiting.

The free breakfast was hot and everything tasted fresh. They alternate between bacon and sausage depending on the day and they also have quiches as an option to eggs which were very tasty. Waffle toppings were syrup and whipped topping. The first day we were there the manager was walking around talking to guests and asking which room they stayed in. Not sure if he was trying to be friendly or he was just checking to make sure only guests were there for breakfast but it was unusual. Overall we had a great stay

I have stayed at this hotel before with no issue. This time we have been here 3 days and on the third day I finally complained about the lack of house keeping. I was assured twice it would be taken care of. As well I complained to Marriott customer service and it was still ignored. Do yourself a favour and stay at another Marriott property, this one doesn't deserve the recognition. As a customer I never write reviews or complain but the service here has been pathetic at best.

I thought I published my review for the inn but I think it never went through. This was by far one of the best places I stayed in California. The front desk personnel were nice and accommodating to us and had a little market next to them for any snacks or travel needs. Compared to the weather outside, the inside of the building was kept at a nice and cool temperature and provided water on standby for anyone who needed it.

The rooms themselves were nice and comfortable. The mattresses were soft and provided support after a long drive. The amenities were great and organized neatly to provide extra space for us. The location itself was quite secluded which meant little to no noises from outside keeping us up at night.

The stay came with complimentary breakfast and their selection was amazing! They have a lot of good options for the waffle maker which I was impressed by, and they had plenty of hot items to eat. There was also a station to create your own granola bowls that while I did not take advantage of, I found to be great.

Speaking of the breakfast, the staff there were nice and kind. I believe this was one of the few places I stayed at where there was an option to tip the breakfast crew and housekeeping through a QR code which is great for those who do not carry cash.

Although I do not know when is the next time I would find myself staying overnight in Indio, I have already recommended this place to others who frequent the area.

Overall it's nice and clean. Location is okay. Room is a little rundown but still nice. Would like the AC to be stronger and lower at check in. Room didn't cool down enough for my liking entire stay. I cannot sleep at higher temperatures.

Had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was great proximity to our friend’s wedding at Old Poso. It is right off the freeway so you do get the noise of the freeway at night. Delicious and free continental breakfast. They have a lot of variety in their breakfast options.

I know it’s using hot in Indio but I was sad to find out they did not have a hot tub 🙁 but overall wonderful stay

The hotel is in a prime location: was convenient to get lunch and drive to Joshua park.

I had asked for additional pillows and blankets; and to provide foam pillows through the mobile app during check in and they didn’t see or setup any of those. Not sure why they ask for these preferences if they are not going to look at it.

Breakfast was ok: no breads. We had remind that they were out of eggs and request them to refill.

As an Elite Platinum member I believe employees should always provide the best customer service to your potential guests no matter the position or field that you decide to work in. Ruby (front desk) is probably one of the worst employees that this Fairfield Inn can possibly have. As I approached the lobby entrance to check in she refused to do an early check in. For staters she not even paying attention to the words that are coming out of my mouth because she's too busy making goodie bags when things like that should be done else where so guests can have a better experience and the employee is giving the fullest attention to the guest in front of them. The parking lot was a ghost town with maybe 7-8 cars within their property at 1:00 pm and she told me she was not able to check me in because they had a busy night so she will text me when the room is available since there isn't any rooms at the moment. I immediately went back to my car but this customer service didn't sit well and now I was uncomfortable staying here. I walked back inside to speak to a manager and she said the manager isn't available. So I asked if I can speak to a supervisor and she said there was no management available today. I don't understand how could there be no management available and they are allowing this girl disrespect their potential guests with her poor customer service. I had no choice but to cancel my reservation and take my business elsewhere. For crying out loud it's the Fairfield Inn but Ruby needs to get it together!
