My recent stay here was pleasant. With the extreme cold temperatures, they had recently suffered a burst pipe and had some fans going with that restoration process. The front desk was very helpful. The breakfast was average for what you would expect. The room was decent and clean. I would definitely stay here again. The Schindler elevator was very efficient.

First let me say this location does not
Look like the picture, second let me explain that the fitness room was flooded. Then let’s talk about the double billing that happen with no resolve. If you check in, do not book more than one day. They have a no refund policy. And will check you out but and regent your room while keeping your money. Management is poor quality. I would not suggest this location go to Spring Hill suite instead. Better staff management and rooms.

Tried Fairfield instead of other Marriotts in Bolingbrook. While there wasn't anything "wrong" with my stay, the rooms are considerably better at the other Marriott hotels around the corner.

Me and my family stayed for a week during our spring break. All staff members we interacted with were so friendly and accommodating to all our needs. Breakfast was delicious and I love how they alternate between sausage and bacon. Beds were comfy and the room was very clean and spacious. In addition, the room had a nice sitting area to relax in or get some work done and the two tv's works out, so the kids could separately watch what they wanted. They even had a pool my kids enjoyed very much. I definitely recommend staying here.

The only person who was nice to me was the guy at the front desk. When I first checked in, the blonde lady was snippy when I asked about the price about the rooms since it was a different price from when I booked online. The day after my wedding, I had asked the front desk if we can extend our checkout time. He said we can do it til 1:30. At 12:37, there was a loud knock on our door, the cleaning guy was asking if we’re checking out and we told him we’re checking out 1:30. My husband was bringing stuff to the car and another cleaning staff had asked if we’re done with the room. ANOTHER LOUD KNOCK occurred and I told the lady hold on, and it was 1:10 pm. We were absolutely fed up. My husband was returning from the car and they asked again. We packed and checked out at 1:19 pm which was way earlier than expected. This was the day after our wedding and we were rushed to get out of rooms. We were exhausted already. Not to mention, the day of our wedding we borrowed a green chair from one of the rooms I booked. When I came back from our wedding night, the second chair was gone. So they went in our room, while we were gone. I didn’t feel safe coming back. The hotel room didn’t have a ‘do not disturb sign’ ww can hang on the doorknob. There was only a ‘relaxing comfortably sign.’ Most likely we won’t be returning to this hotel or any Fairfield Inn.

If I could give a zero I would. The staff is very rude. They could not provide towels for their guests. I’m not sure if they are experiencing homelessness in the area or not. They pretty much treat you like a criminal for asking for fresh towels. I sent the below email to the manager and she didn’t respond. I will never ever visit this location again. They give MARRIOT a bad name and image.

Hello, I am currently a guest at Fairfield. I am sending this email to address a few concerns that I have. When I arrived to the establishment my room was not ready. I arrived after the check in time. I was told by one of your staff members that the room was not available. She was very rude. She pretty much told me that the room is not ready and there is nothing she could do about it. It’s not what she said but the way she said it. That was the first thing.

Secondly, upon leaving out of the facility, I was asked if everything was ok. I explained that I needed additional towels in my room. I wanted to know if I would be able to call down to request them or ask for them once I return. The staff person said, well isn’t it 4 towels in your room. I said no there is only 3. She went on to say well, we will give you 1 towel upon your return. I told her that we take showers at night as well as in the morning. I should not have to explain our routine to anyone. It is my understanding that the room sleeps 6 people anyway. I am a guest and should not be hassled about towels. I had no idea that Marriott facilities are rationing out towels. It made us feel like she thought we wanted to steal the towels. Upon our return we were given the same treatment from another staff person that I’m sure the previous staff informed her of the issue. I was told that asking for 4 towels was a bit much and now she only has 2 left. I am just appalled to say the least. Do they expect us to share towels? This will be my last time staying at this facility because the treatment I received is unacceptable. I understand keeping inventory but saying I will be charged for towels and not wanting to provide towels is ridiculous. Who will be responsible for counting the dirty towels? I want to make sure my card is not charged. Sorry for the long email but I am just not happy with what occurred. I have been a Marriott rewards member for a long time and I don’t appreciate being treated this way. Is there a district manager? If so, please forward me his or her contact information.

This location is far enough away from an Interstate so you don’t hear traffic all night. The staff is friendly. When we arrived the room was cleaner and nicer than the hotel we usually stay at. Even the inside of the water reservoir of the coffee maker looked clean!!! My one beef with this and every other hotel is that they do not understand what a “handicapped toilet” means. I asked for that while checking in as I have an injured knee, yet we are still given a lower toilet. In fact many of these hotels have an actual handicapped toilet near the lobby only. I’m not going down to use it in the middle of the night, so the struggle continues. The breakfast offered is so-so. What was good: vanilla yogurt, English muffins, raisin bagels, sausage.
