I had a wonderful stay at Extended Stay America. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and provided a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making my experience even better. Ms. Delora at the front desk was especially outstanding—her warm and professional service truly stood out. Plus, the price was very affordable, making it a great value for the experience. I highly recommend this hotel, and it will definitely be my top choice whenever I visit again.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Skokie! The room is clean and comfortable, featuring a convenient kitchenette and a pet-friendly atmosphere—perfect for travelers with furry companions. All of the staff is incredibly nice and accommodating, ensuring a welcoming experience from start to finish. Mariano, a manager is extremely helpful & goes above and beyond. Can’t say thank you enough!

What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service from the hotel General Manager, Mark. He is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about the guests, making him a true asset to the hotel. A huge thank you to Mark!

Additionally, the hotel offers great amenities, including a laundry room and vending machines, making it super convenient for guests. The location is also a major plus—just down the street from Old Orchard Mall and right across from Lifetime Fitness.

Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! I will definitely be recommending this hotel to all my family and friends.

What can I say about the extended stay, well to start off, it’s very comfortable and peaceful. It’s a nice little spot to just get away for a night or a few days. The staff, though that’s what makes it even better. You have Ana, Mark, Mariano, Tommy and the lovely Miss Delora. Anytime I’ve needed something or had a question or anything with the room. They are always right there to help and they’re always there to converse if you need. Plus free coffee, come on now!

Tommy the front manager and I am very impressed by his professionalism and orientation. Good place. We left mainstay in wheeling and it was a dump compared to this lovely hotel. Please give Tommy a bonus.

The only high rating here is the location. Being off of 94 you can easily access everything.
The smell, the smell, the smell. I wouldn’t use the draws or unpack. I was afraid it would come with me.
Walls are so thin. I spent my time listening to the little girl next door cry.
No water pressure in the shower or HOT water. I don’t think the bathrooms have been redone ever! The faucets were literally my childhood faucets.
Room was super dusty which was great since I have a dust allergy.
Had to clean toothpaste off of bathroom mirrors when I first got there.
My room number was announced in a lobby full of people.
It’s like a smokers convention as soon as you walk out of the door. This also carries into the hotel.
Kids running around like it Chuck E. Cheese during the day.
24” tvs in the room. Maybe 32” but nothing more than that.
Sheets had stains.
Rug had stains. Had to constantly take lid off of toilet to get it to flush. Tub had stains.

Do yourself a favor stay somewhere else.

UPDATE. THE MANAGER DID CALL ME TO LISTEN AND TRY TO MAKE THINGS BETTER WHICH I APPRECIATE.

The staff here were awesome and very helpful, Tommy went out of his way to make my stay here awesome, Ana was really sweet and very helpful, Delora always made me smile and was so nice. Mark the GM well he was what I call a friend, I had to go home for a emergency and I had some gifts coming to the hotel and he mailed them to my home in San Antonio TX. Every staff member made it really nice. The rooms were nice and cozy, the bed was so comfy full kitchen full fridge I loved it. Thank you to all the staff there and I hope to see you again!

Shout out to the staff at this hotel. Top notch service and very professional and courteous. The manager is a very sharp and efficient gentleman and all the ladies on staff are also so lovely and nice.
For anyone looking for a hotel of this type (with kitchen) please know that this hotel does provide complimentary coffee makers, pots, cooking utensils and dish ware. (I brought my own sponge and detergent). Soap and shampoo are provided but if you like to use conditioner and lotion, I recommend bringing your own. Good size tv with cable and strong WiFi.
Lots of cute doggies and the laundry facility on site was fantastic (and accepts credit cards or quarters).
Make sure to get to breakfast early if you want coffee or muffins!
As of the date of this review, the entire hotel had a professional hvac company clean and service the ac unit in each room. Very pleased with our stay for all the above reasons, but also be aware that the carpet here needs a deep clean. There is however, a very comfortable leather recliner in the room we stayed in! Bed was also very comfortable.
Lastly, fantastic location and most important of all, we experienced very minimal door slamming and no noise pollution from the other rooms as well as outside. (Bring an eye mask in case your rooms’ blinds do not fully block out light like ours).

Mariano is great and got my issue sorted quickly all the while providing excellent customer service to other patrons. I have been here for some time on contract for work and all the front desk staff have been exceptional to include: Mariano, Tommie, Anna.
