Kinda staff , good coffee and great pastries. I also got to try the caponata sandwich 🥪 which was excellent. Beautiful interior - we ended up hanging out a few hours in the comfy banquettes!

As an Evanston resident, who has tried almost everything in the town. Evanston Pour is a unique institution. You can get a great cup of coffee or a great cocktail, chat with folks, feel cozy yet elegant in the space. The addition of trivia nights on Tuesdays really brought an extra sense of community, whimsy, and fun to the already great establishment. I have also seen the owner there almost every time I go. Whether you study at the bar or catch up with friends, Evanston Pour has something for everyone.

This place is charming. They offer great options. However, seating is limited and customers are not generous or forthcoming with offering up seats. People seem to like to plant themselves and sit for awhile. But if you don’t mind standing or fighting for a seat, it is a nice little place.

Remember to tip Marisol! She is SO sweet and gives really good recommendations. I asked what the chai was like and what her favorite focaccia was and WOW. The focaccia is really good and the chai is spicy and delectable! 🥰

A perfect environment for student entrepreneurs or just to have a coffee with a very friendly team, I visit many coffee shops around Chicago, and I can assure you that the coffee is of high quality.

A negative point that is now in the past is the arrangement of the food, there was often no food on the display, and I kept dreaming of something delicious to go with the coffee, and I had no choice. After two visits, the food problem was already in the past.

Normally I visit the place 3 times before posting my experience with the place, but I can guarantee that the place is ready for all types of public.

There’s not much of a selection on food/pastries for a coffee shop. However, there is good coffee and tea. One thing I wish that they’d change is they do not allow laptops at any of the tables other than the high top area. If this changed I would give it 5 stars. For me, I’d like to sip on coffee, work on personal things (pay bills/family matters/travel plans/read through online articles) on a laptop in a good vibes scenery but it’s not the same if I can’t do that at a table. I wouldn’t necessarily say this place is very kid friendly but that’s more because I don’t see kids there, the staff has never said anything otherwise. Very friendly staff!

This place has been on my list to try for awhile. Finally had some time before my work shift to stop in and try this place out this morning. Great customer service, super friendly staff! Coffee and pastry tasted delicious! Will definitely be back again to try other items on their menu. Decor is beautiful as well.
