This is such a lovely place! We stayed for one night on a road trip, and the owner was kind enough to let us check in a little early on a SUPER HOT day (we were on a motorcycle and so very hot) and then gave us suggestions for the area for the evening. Tons of walkable restaurants in the area. And right up from Snake Alley! The house itself is gorgeous. We stayed in the Gatsby room which had a super comfortable bed and an awesome and roomy bathroom with shower and jetted tub. Breakfast was tasty and we had a great time chatting with our host. I’d highly recommend this inn!

Dustin and Kage have a really nice place in the Holly Grove Inn. I had never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast and didn't really know what to expect. They showed me around and wow what a beautiful home. There are so many different rooms in this historic home and learning more about the property's history was awesome to me.

The location is perfect. It's just up the hill from downtown and on a nice weather day I could see guests walking to their destinations. Otherwise, it was about a 2 min drive to get to the heart of downtown. You can't beat that.

The couple made suggestions of places to check out for food and drinks.

I will definitely be back.

Kage was a wonderful host and told us the history of the home and the area. The home is a beautifully decorated museum. Breakfast was a a fruit parfait, bacon and delicious loaded omelet. There are beautiful sitting areas indoors and out. We will definitely come again and tell everyone we know how wonderful it is.

Awesome and Beautiful Bed and Breakfast! The hosts were delightful and everything was just great! This is a lovely old historic home, with beautiful rooms and decor in a great upperscale old neighborhood where the wealthy of Burlington build their century old homes! There are stairs to navigate.

I’ve stayed here twice now in the last few weeks and each time was a wonderful experience. The owners are very welcoming, personable, and give great recommendations for the area. The rooms and house itself is simply breathtaking. There’s a lot of of history to the house that the owners are happy to discuss and give a quick tour over. Definitely one of the best stays in Burlington, IA if not the best.

Good place. Puts you in downtown Burlington. Excellent breakfast. Owners are accommodating if you communicate ahead of time and not last minute. Low key b&b. Respectful of your space. Only caution is there is stairs if you have any trouble walking be prepared. Would stay again.

Immaculately decorated. Very clean. Very well kept. Very nice room. Most comfortable bed in history. Not insanely expensive. Wonderful whirlpool in our room. Host was incredibly nice and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. Quite possibly the best BnB I've ever been too and it's right across from historic snake alley and one block up from the downtown nightlife area.
