EvaDean’s Bakery and Cafe is a true gem! I stopped by recently, and I can’t stop thinking about their almond croissant – it was simply perfection: light, flaky, and filled with just the right amount of almond goodness. Paired with their rich hot chocolate, it was an unforgettable treat.

The cafe’s interior is cozy and charming, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. Whether you’re there to catch up with a friend or simply relax, EvaDean’s is the perfect spot. Highly recommend stopping by for a pastry and a cup of comfort!

The only way to say it is that this place is the real deal. The build out isn’t much, and so I can’t really give that the highest rating, but the service is impeccable by *trained and experienced* staff. Over everything is the kitchen. Every single thing I’ve ordered here has been very well prepared. You go to a diner, or you go to a café somewhere and it’s usually OK and “enough” or whatever. But for these people, breakfast is also *cuisine*. These pancakes this morning of a perfect consistency and a perfect brownness that I can’t always get in my own kitchen, and I’ve been making pancakes for literally 55 years. I just can’t say enough about the talent back there in that kitchen.

This was a good finding. We were very pleased with the food, it was very good and beyond expectations.
The crepe with apples was delicious. It has a German taste, if you're familiar with it, but I think the combination of caramel and cheese cream was very good. Not the usual sugar bomb, well balanced
My eggs Benedict were perfect. The hollandaise sauce was one of the best I've tried, and the muffin was so buttery and rich.
The service was good, it just was weird to have to ask for a spoon twice after being served with our mochaccino and hot chocolate.
Anyhow, nice people and great food. Very recommended

I am a self proclaimed soup snob and I was blown away by the French Onion. One of the best soups I have ever tasted. I sat at the counter so I was able to see the other dishes being served and they all had my mouth watering. The staff were super friendly and attentive. You could feel the neighborhood vibe as soon as you walk through the door. There is also an attached bakery that smelled delicious. I’ll be back

I came in for brunch last weekend. It's a really cute restaurant/bakery. I will say that the table setting was not the most attractive. Each table had mugs with spoons inside of them. It's not appealing to the eye because it gives the impression that the mugs have been used. I went in when they were not busy and service was pretty slow. I ordered a French style omelette that had Spanish chorizo and Brie sauce. As well as sourdough bread, and it was absolutely DELICIOUS. I also ordered a cappuccio. The picture of both orders are down below. Cappuccino's are not supposed to have that much foam on top. Since the food was so good, everything else were very minor things. I will definitely be coming back for more omelettes.

It's great to see a restaurant continue to exceed expectations and raise the bar for the village. Recent additions to the menu such as these blueberry lemon curd pancakes show daring and talent! Be adventurous and give them a try--just excellent.

I've returned to EvaDean's 3 mornings in a row after discovering this charming Brunch spot and Bakery.

Delicious food in a beautiful venue nestled in historic downtown Wilmette. My server Luciano even remembered I didn't eat my strawberries from the meal before, and asked If I'd like to exchange them for a different fruit... what service!

The counter bar has been a great place to work on my laptop while eating; and have even treated myself to mimosa (or two).

Would highly recommend, and will definitely return.

Exceptional Service. Gabby was phenomenal. When in doubt go with the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The cinnamon roll is fresh. The brioche on that French toast is to die for. But again… get the grilled cheese. It’s the real deal.
