Very nice hotel! Stayed there with my mom (she LOVES architecture and interior design) so she was obsessed with this place! The beds were comfy, we only stayed one night so I can’t say anything for house keeping. The breakfast was ok honestly, for a hotel that looks this fancy they could up their game a little. It’s really cool that they have the pictures of the famous/important people that have stayed at the hotel. They also have a little museum of their own around the actual hotel. Was a pretty cool stay!

Please don’t use essential oils or whatever scent is being sprayed in the hallways. It seems like an attempt to mask a bad smell, but it actually makes things worse. The rooms have a mild musty odor, but the hallways smell strongly of something like Glade, which is quite unpleasant.

The rooms themselves are a bit rundown, but they’re spacious, charming, and the beds are very comfortable. The location is peaceful and quiet, although you will hear the church bells—but I personally found that quite charming.

The living room area is cozy, especially with the fireplace. Each room has a heater that works well; if you’re unsure how to operate it, just call the front desk. They also provide extra space heaters if needed.

Wow, I never stayed in a Grand Hotel of the oldy times before -- this Eureka Inn was definitely that and it's a true gem and once-in-a-lifetime experience staying there. I just loved it. Spend some time in the grand lobby and look at all the displays on the main floor and floor above. I feel like I got a history lesson all in one. The rooms were renovated very nicely as well.

Very old hotel. The entire hotel is misrepresented on the website. I was assured an ADA room when I booked. Upon arrival, I was told there were no ADA rooms available. The bathroom is so small, the door could only be partially opened because the door hits the toilet. The sink and vanity are the size of a bar sink. There was no restaurant as advertised and I was told there were no plans to open it. This stay was very disappointing. The hotel is definitely not worth the price.

Love this hotel, lots of character inside, I can see why it was popular in the 70s-80s. There are paintings of all the celebrities and politicians on the wall who stayed there as well as a few glass casings of pieces from history.
Bed was comfortable, room was lovely, everything worked wonderfully, the only thing is they only had a small mirror above the sink and I am very short so I was not able to use it as well.
Breakfast was great, service was absolutely fantastic, and it’s right across from old town!
We came in during the Chinese new years event and that was very fun.
Will definitely stay here again.

I enjoy staying here and the rooms are priced well. It can be difficult finding convenient outlet locations if you travel with a lot of electronics. Be careful with some of the furniture, the desk chair in my room had a loose chair leg that wouldn't take much to have it fall off.

I absolutely Love the Eureka Inn. The hotel stall has always been friendly and helpful and the Old Style rooms clean and comfortable. I have stayed many times. However, the reason I dropped from 5 stars to 3. Is the last two times I stayed the " Lounge" was not the enjoyable experience I was used too. The Lady behind the bar was almost acting as if we were an intrusion into her time on her laptop at the end of the Bar. They had only One glass of Red Wine available in their inventory. This was a Saturday evening. And as I said the usual relaxed piano bar experience was not there. We actually got up and left to find a place to relax downtown. And I got the feeling the bartender was glad because she. Old go back to her laptop. Agsin I stress the hotel itself and staff were great. I will give it one more try because I have always loved the place. I am hoping they will address this.

This once luxurious hotel is tired and faded. The public rooms look grand but there is little service, few staff and the breakfast was poor. Such a shame. It's a nice town and the hotel must have been lovely once
