Estero Inn is an absolute must stay if you love Morro Bay. The views are great, you are right on the water. Also the wine options are tasty, if you enjoy wine. You are walking distance to tons of local shops and food. So thankful we decided to stay here. It was definitely worth the priceless memories. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

We had such a great time staying at the Estero Inn! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how cozy, welcoming, and well-designed the place is. It really feels like a hidden gem down at the southern end of Embarcadero.

The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. They gave us great recommendations and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The check-in was quick and easy, too.

We stayed in the Marine Suite, and it was just beautiful. The beds were so comfy, and the view of Morro Rock from our window was incredible. The room was also really spacious, which was perfect for my wife, our two kids, and me!

The hotel is in a great spot, walking distance from tons of shops and restaurants. We had so much fun checking out the shops along Embarcadero, and we were pleasantly surprised by how little driving we needed to do once we got settled in.

Whether you’re here for work or play, the Estero Inn has the perfect mix of comfort, style, and a personal touch. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Hands down the best place to stay in Morro Bay!!! This place is amazing. The view from our room was incredible and the location couldn’t be more perfect. Walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants in the town and also close to many prime sea otter viewing spots! Super comfortable room and very cozy with the fireplace and also balcony. 10/10 recommend booking the Estero Inn for an amazing weekend trip in Morro Bay!

A small inn right on the water with stunning bay (and Morro Rock!) views from some of the rooms, Very spacious, very comfortable room full of amenities (kitchenette, game table, a climate control system that really works well, etc.), and the innkeepers make an effort to provide various luxurious little touches (towel "sculptures", water bottles, etc.). Very quiet. Great location a short walk from good restaurants and tourist shopping along the Morro Bay waterfront. Pretty expensive, but probably worth it.

Love this inn! We have been coming here for years. Each room has been spectacular. Many nice touches and friendly staff. It’s our go to place for a quiet relaxing weekend away in this charming town. Our recent stay however was disappointing. The inn has been sold. There are no staff onsite, and you must checkin across the street. The charm has been lost. New owners please bring back the friendly welcoming staff, the inn needs them. The experience has been impacted negatively.

Until this visit, this was our go to place in Morro Bay. It was delightful in October 2024. With change of ownership recently it’s basically a motel now. No lobby, no front desk, no humans anywhere. No water in the room. No bathmat. Heater flashing “check filter”. Low batteries on remote and of course no one to contact for replacements. They could have at least left a note in the room on how to contact new management other than walking across the street to talk to a 16 year old epsilon at the front desk of another “inn”. To me, an inn has an innkeeper! The view was great, the room was okay but I felt invisible.|Will look for a different spot when we return to Morro Bay in the summer.

Estero is absolutely fabulous in every way, the staff, the rooms, the view. We had a wonderful experience there the two days we spent with them, but what put them over the top was when I realized I left my robe on the back of the bathroom door, the robe I used to get ready for my wedding day 😭 they were amazing and worked with me to get it mailed back. I can’t wait to visit them again in the future! Frankie and Phoebe in particular were awesome!

I was looking forward to this hotel over all the other 9 we had booked during our trip to California and this 1 exceeded all expectations.||The hotel room itself is absolutely stunning, the bed was comfortable and the bath was delightful. Having binoculars in the room was such a brilliant addition, we sat on the balcony and watched the bay for hours. ||The check in was wonderful, the person told us where to see sea otters if we couldn’t see them from our room as that’s what I really wanted to see. ||We only stayed 1 night but we will absolutely be back and will stay for more than 1 night. This is quite literally my dream hotel and we talk about it daily.
