The gentlemen were very nice and inviting.. next time I hope I have the time to eat in and enjoy...

Got a hot pastrami sandwich which is killer!!!! They were nice enough to give me a Lil portion cup of there clam chowder to try... yes I will be back maybe even tomorrow!
The sample of the chowder was also fantastic not to mention with it being so rainy and I was on foot it really hit the spot..

Great food and great people. I loved the whole experience with this place. San Francisco feel and food without the San Francisco prices. I had the liverworst and roast beef on rye. So freaking good. And I'm so glad I chose the chili. Some of the best chili I've ever had. I will return and I will get the calamari and soup with bread bowl. Super friendly lady working the counter.

This is the best Deli I've been to in the Contra Costa East Bay. There chili in a bread bowl was excellent. Salami sandwich was really good too. My girlfriend had the Crab Louie and was impressed with how much crab was on it. This is my new favorite place for my chilli / deli fix. Both The ambiance and food is uniquely San Fran style, like the name suggests.

Been here 3 times the last 2 weeks needing sandwich for night shift lunch. Today I order the crab sandwich again this real salty and strong fishy smell. Didnt eat but 2 bites, went to eat my turkey sandwich and there was tomato. I told them no tomato 3 times he even repeated it. Well no 4th time

I was doing a job in this area and decided to eat local food and not chain. The service was wonderful and the 2 items i had was so delicious. The clam chowder in a bread bowl was so good with the bread and crackers. I also had the hot pastrami sandwich which was doubly good. Great food keep it up.

The crab sandwich was amazing. REAL CRAB, not a mix of mayo, celery, etc with a punch of crab atop lettuce . This is the real deal. $14.99 , & it came with a bag of chips.
