Fantastic spa. Just needs a little more staff if they want to accommodate larger groups. I booked for a group of 5 ladies and we had to choose between facials and mani/ pedicures. All of us had massages or a service that included a massage and thoroughly enjoyed them. Otherwise, we had a fabulous day. Kathleen at the front desk/ scheduling was wonderful. She worked with me every step of the way and made sure we had as much as we could get on our day.

This place is absolutely wonderful! The staff are all great. My therapist Dan was the best; I definitely recommend him for a deep tissue massage. You will not be disappointed. From start to finish, our girls spa day was the best. We are already planning another trip to the area so that we can come again.

My wife and I spent the weekend at The Ridges resort in Hiawassee for our 10 year Anniversary. We treated ourselves to a “couples massage”…. We’ve enjoyed massages in our hometown Blue Ridge… others in Nashville, Cancun/Cozumel, Maui and Kuaii.

But Equani Spa, a quaint and beautiful spa… Kaylee is as my masseuse. I found out after my massage, her nickname is “Iron Hands”… oh my goodness, I prefer a deep tissue massage and she lived up to her namesake. Don’t let that scare you, she can tone down the pressure to your liking. Kayley gave me the absolute best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had! She intuitively knows just how much pressure to increase or decrease on a client and any particular muscle group. I didn’t have to say a single word to her the entire 80min massage at all.

My wife received her massage from her masseuse “Conan”, and she equally bragged on his therapy skills as well.

Living local in Blue Ridge, it’s worth the 30min drive to Equani Soa in Hiawassee.

Absolutely incredible experience at Equani Spa. Beautifully designed facilities and friendly staff. My therapist Kayley was amazing. She was very attentive and listened exactly to where I was experiencing discomfort and why I was visiting the spa. She made sure to apply the perfect pressure which made it one one the best massages I’ve ever had. I left feeling completely rejuvenated and relaxed. If you are looking for a top-notch massage therapist who genuinely cares about her clients and delivers outstanding results, Kaley is definitely the one to see. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Will definitely be going back for another visit.

This spa is one of my favorites if you're in western NC or north GA. It serves only a handful of guests at a time so it's very quiet and private. The relaxation room is beautiful and features adjustable white leather chaise lounges with plush blankets and a giant wood fireplace. The swiss shower and steam room in the ladies locker room are relaxing amenities to enjoy after or before your treatment. Outdoors, the hot tub and lounge chairs are great, in addition to the gorgeous mountain views. I love a champagne in the hot tub! Food and drinks can be delivered to you during your spa day but I also enjoy driving across to Brassies Tavern at the resort and sitting outside after my spa day for lunch or dinner. You're welcomed even if you're not staying overnight at the resort.

We booked this trip as a "get away" and most of it was wonderful just not long enough. The massages were some of the best we have ever had! Our therapists were attentive and had just the right techniques for us. We booked an 80 minute session each and were delighted.
We also booked Pedicures and while the therapist was so sweet and had a great personality, we just cannot justify spending $70 on this service. She was torn between the two of us since she was the only one there and so there was not really individual focused attention. While I love my best friend, I do not want to share her tools and the lady did just that. No sterilization or cleaning the tools in between us- just roll the tray over and use the same tools.
We were hoping after sending emails to the hotel and spa that they would respond and we wouldn't need to post this review but we have heard nothing so we felt it important to share our experience.

The stream room was 10/10. The massage was good, only wish it was longer. It’s strange that the men and woman have different accommodations, but on the women’s side was the steam room which was incredible.

The front desk of the spa was as sweet as she could be, but hospitality is not her forte. It could be that she’s untrained, but anytime I wanted anything more than a glass of water, like a complementary glass of tea or to use the steam room, it was required that I go to the front desk, needless to say, we had multiple interactions. Again the sweetest gal, but every time I went to her she was on social media or on personal calls, speaking in a loud voice. Given how kind she was, I’m chalking it up to her not being trained properly. However the over all experience was great.
