I prefer supporting a local business over a multi-national conglomerate, and I want to like this coffee shop, but each time I visit, I’m disappointed. The staff looks so depressed and annoyed to be there. There is so much potential to be labeled as “cozy” or “homey,” but instead, it comes off as “cold.” This is a small store, and when entering, you are about 10 feet from the barista and cashier. Common courtesy would be to say “Welcome” or “Good Morning” when looking up. Instead, employees look at you, make eye contact, and ignore you. It’s an awkward five-minute wait for someone to come up to the register and take your order; when they do, it's a robotic “what can I get you?” and a radiating vibe that you are inconveniencing them. Don’t expect a smile or “thank you” at any point.

I order a simple hot Mocha; it's overpriced and nothing to brag about. Don’t worry about burning yourself or needing the drink to cool down; mine has always been served lukewarm. A few of their sandwiches sound interesting, but I have not ventured there since this “coffee house” has not impressed me with their coffee drinks. The pastries in their display cabinet look very similar to Costco’s pastries.

I HATE saying this, but I suggest you postpone giving any tips until after receiving your food so you can base it on the service/quality/speed you receive.

The coffee & food is amazing, the staff is extremely slow they appear as they don't want to be at work. Sandwiches or any food item have a 30 min wait really 30 min to make a sandwich, maybe if the food prep is off the phones & move faster it wouldn't take this long. I keep coming back cus I love the coffee & sandwiches, but this will be the last. I can't do this every time I come to pick up coffee & wait 30 minutes to get my coffee. We need more active motivated people to get things done fast & it will definitely bring be back. Until then im not returning.

The first time I came here bagel full and good 10/10 service wasn’t the best. Second time (today) I got my order and they made it so sloppy just trying yo get it out.. like wth is that…

Good vibes, friendly staff, and good coffee. What more could you ask for?

This location has been around for what feels like forever, yet today was the first time I’d gone and I don’t regret it whatsoever.
I ordered the hot White Mocha (comes with 4x espresso shots by default) and the turkey egg sandwich. The sandwich was kind of what you’d expect but the coffee itself was splendid. Not overly sweet while retaining its flavor. The decoration is also nice. Simple and clean murals on the walls with modern cafe style decor. My only complaint is how far it is from my house! I certainly won’t make it a regular drive for coffee, but if you’re in the area or passing through, I highly recommend this spot.

The coffee is delicious and consistent. I’ve come here in a span of years and it is still so yummy! The paninis are still good as well. The el dorado location is much more friendly. Second time I’ve been here and the workers are so lukewarm. Just a simple hello and thank you would go a long way and tone change would go so far.
But overall I’m gonna keep coming back for the coffee lol

After 15 minutes I had the audacity to ask about the status of my avocado toast and was told “Still waiting. You aren’t the only one who’s ordered food. We have DoorDash orders too.” ewe. bye.

Can we talk about how HOT it is in there!!! Not sure if the air conditioning needs to be repaired but I had to order and immediately walk out to wait. The girls working behind the counter were very sweet. Really love the coffee here but the heat made it unbearable. Feel terrible for the poor employees here. Do better empresso.

Used to be pretty good, now they are obscenely overpriced. Paying 16 bucks for 2 tepid drinks is overkill. Guess they think they are so fancy taking the prices down and price gouging is okay. Avoid for bad business practices.
