The venue has a laid back vibe. There were very few other guests which seemed weird for a weekend. The food we ordered was decent. Had a meatless burger which was either an Impossible Burger or a Beyond Burger. Expected different based on the menu. Service was good. The restaurant charges for EVERYTHING and that was a little off-putting. Charging for ketchup and mustard when I order a burger is a little excessive. There is also a 3.9% service charge on all transactions regardless of how you pay (e.g., cash, card, etc ..). Downtown Rensselaer was pretty cool. Check out their art walk. Overall, I wanted to give a 3.5 rating but you can't do half stars. Gave a 4 ONLY for that reason.

We hosted my mom’s birthday party at eMbers Venue over the weekend, and my family and I can’t say enough great things about our experience! From start to finish, eMbers went above and beyond to make the event special. The space was beautiful, the service was impeccable, and everything ran so smoothly thanks to their awesome staff.

Shoutout to Janelle for helping make everything perfect, as well as Carly and Amber behind the bar—they were great! Kristie and the rest of the team also made sur eevery detail was taken care of, and it showed! Our friends and family from Chicago and Indy couldn’t stop talking about how amazing everything was.

Thank you all for making my mom’s birthday wonderful!

My daughter recently had her wedding/reception here & it could not have been MORE PERFECT! The entire staff, along with the bartenders went OUT OF THEIR WAY, to make certain everything was top notch. The food was AMAZING, atmosphere was incredible, and the night was filled with FUN, & MAGICAL MEMORIES!! Thank you EMBERS!!!!! 💗💗💗

Janelle and Ryan were rockstars!! We had our wedding 10.1.22 and it was seriously perfect. The whole team did an amazing job with setting up for ceremony and reception. The patio was perfect for cocktail hour, and we were able to have beer pong going! The reception was set up beautifully, they were able to play the ceremony music for us and had a microphone for our officiant. They set up everything which took tons of pressure off us. The bartender was very sweet and even signed our guestbook! Everything was so organized and went so well. If I had any changes or concerns Janelle was easy to get ahold of and did what she could to help! The venue itself is truly beautiful and everyone loved it. The art around town had some gorgeous photo ops for our wedding party photos. The artwork in the background of the photos our photographers (JL Media) captured was so beautiful and provided so much color! BOOK THEM!!! SUPER reasonably priced.

eMbers Venue is an unexpected gem in this small Indiana town! We held our wedding here and it. Was. Perfect. Janelle and Ryan are amazing people and did everything they could in helping us plan our wedding. They answered all our stupid wedding questions (since we had no idea what we were doing), offered thoughts and opinions with no judgement, and had the expert knowledge and technology to help plan our day. The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL - I loved the laid-back artistic vibe of the venue inside and out, the carefully located lights, the artwork on the walls, the building's exterior murals, everything. Ryan is a superb bartender (I am obsessed with his mojitos). Janelle made sure the day of the wedding went flawlessly. They are both extremely passionate in what they do. I cannot recommend this venue and its staff enough. Bonus: the food is also exceptional! Thank you eMbers!!

My friend and I met here, roughly halfway between our two homes, what a surprisingly beautiful, friendly, elegant and welcoming venue! We sat outside for a few hours, had our lunch and enjoyed the sunshine, no one rushed us.
