Hilton does not prompt for guests’ comments after every stay plus it’s overly complicated to find and submit the online feedback form. ||||Great experience from check in to check out! ||Both Rose and Anna were friendly and helpful. I appreciate Rose’ explanation of “my way” options and Anna’s responsiveness. ||Breakfast selection and quality was impressive. Special thanks to the kitchen crew for doing their job so well. ||Also, valet was quick!

We have stayed here several times and have noticed a deterioration of service and of the facilities. Unless you ask the Front Desk the room will not be serviced except every other day. You can request that it be serviced unless you don't mind humid towels and bathroom trash. The hotel also imposes a $100 per day guarantee fee that it is added to the room charges without warning. Not sure why this requirement since the Hotel already has the credit card on file. The Front Desk people range from nice but clueless to rude. No sense of client service. There's a new Operations Manager that says she's trying to get these things corrected. In addition, the room furnishings are worn out. Couch table has black tape around the edges; a shower head that has loose parts, frayed furniture. It needs renovation. Parking is expensive ($35 a day) but there is public parking next to the Hotel that is more reasonable. The location of the hotel is very good (five minutes by car to downtown Walnut Creek and walking distance to BART). The Hotel offers free breakfast and a couple of free drinks daily (limited selection) during Happy Hour. Anyway, it is worrisome that one has to depend on a decaying facility or pay much higher daily rates in nearby places, like the Marriot, Renaissance, etc. Not sure I will return.

• Our bathroom smelled like mold/ metal/ rotten eggs when we arrived. Immediate room change (Sanitized, right?)| • New next door neighbors had 5 kids and 2 parents who, probably at no fault of their own, continued to slam their door to the point where our entire room rattled (Excellent equipment functionality)| • Then, throughout the night, our upstairs neighbors proceeded to stomp. Called the front desk to send security upstairs at midnight and 1:00AM. People were also screaming out front at 2:00AM (Great sound insulation, location and demographics, right?)| • We wanted an early check-in time, and were originally instructed to call 3 days in advance to confirm. When we called back, they told us to call the morning of. When we did that, they told us to call later in the day because they undergo “a thorough sanitization process” that takes time. (Really? Then how did you sanitize that rotting restroom?)| • Lastly, when I realized that I accidentally left my face wash in the original room’s bathroom and asked to retrieve it but to not have housekeeping enter our room to without notice to hand it over because we had a cat with us, I was chastised for bringing my cat: “They allowed you to have a cat?” |“Yes, this hotel is ‘pets allowed.’”|“Usually that’s for dogs. Cleaning for a cat is different.”|(Well, when were they going to tell me that after I checked in with a cat in its crate?)||This place is running on yesterday’s laurels and doesn’t have the proper staff to maintain or manage its running issues. A big disappointment. We planed to stay two nights but decided to leave after one night for fear that we might lose another night’s sleep. At $300/ night for a suite, we could have gotten an AirBNB with none of these issues.||Good luck with this place.

Right next to Walnut Creek BART this open air atrium style hotel is a fun stay. Their breakfast (6a to 9a weekday, 6a to 10a on weekends) is delicious. The omelet and pancake guys are happy to make you a yummy breakfast. The bar downstairs is a great place to go before 10p and get a drink to bring to your room or drink and eat at the bar. The pool is heated and the kids loved it. We stayed in the family suit on the 7th floor. The glass elevator never looses its charm.

My only complaint is more of a suggestion. Better use of the space to add decor. Empty flower boxes and all.of that space in the interior could make for a fantastic backdrop for seasonal decor. The modern look they adopted 3 years ago just feels like it can't fill the incredible space and charm.

Nice-ish Embassy Suites. Badly in need of remodeling. My room was very quiet, with comfortable bed. Ideal for telework.||I parked in the BART parking lot for 6.00 a day. So did my friend. It’s safe, overnight, and a less than 5 minute walk away. There is no excuse for the hotel charging 30.00 a day. That, in itself, is a basis for not to stay here. You can pre-schedule your overnight BART parking in advance on the app - very easy, and once that’s done all you do is drive in and park - no additional work on site. ||The breakfast is a reason to stay here. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. The happy hour good consisted of potato chips and a few veggies; not impressed.||There’s a great scotch place within walking distance - great atmosphere, food, drink.

Positive: The morning breakfast is great. The location is good, easy to get to shopping and restaurants and the BART station is just across the street. Negative: We have been staying at this hotel for years and have watched it progressively go down hill. The rooms need major updating (paint and plaster peeling off in the shower, carpet is beyond dirty, bed is horribly uncomfortable) and now they don?t clean.
