This is a regular work stay location for me. The location is perfect for my needs, and it’s also near a ton of shopping and restaurants.

The rooms are getting a little worn, to be honest. Much of the furniture has worn-off finishes, some of the tubs are stained and the tile floors are also stained. With that being said, worn does not mean unclean - they are pretty close to spotless in my experience. The beds are comfortable as well.

The free breakfast buffet is extensive with tons of options. Happy hour is also a nice perk.

The technology is great and pretty up-to-date. I like that I can link my streaming accounts on the TVs, the app check-in/out are great, and the digital key makes it so you can just head straight to your room on arrival. Also appreciate the EV chargers (Tesla only unless you have an adapter).

I think with a refurb this would be a pretty awesome place but in the meantime it gets the job done with lots of extras that make up for what’s needed.

The service is wonderful! The front desk staff immediately greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner. The food is great, with added accommodations when requested. The rooms are decorated very nicely and the atmosphere is comfortable - as well as the beds and seating areas! The location is great and very easily accessible to anyone visiting Hoover from I-4/9, Highway 150 and Highway 31. There are so many places to eat and shop nearby... you can even get a facial, haircut, car wash, or go to the gym within a mile or so either way! Embassy Suites is a great place to book your stay... you will no't be disappointed.

This is a hidden gem! They are currently remodeling but the rooms are nice and the service is even better! The African American male that was our host was phenomenal along with the bartender Mr. David! This place has free made to order omelets along with other breakfast items. The 530p-7p weekend open bar was definitely a plus! Me and my family WILL be back!

I had an outstanding experience at the Embassy Suites in Hoover, AL! The hotel was spotless, with incredibly comfortable beds that made it easy to relax after a long day. I loved the added touch of ceiling fans in the rooms—it really made a difference in the comfort level. But what truly stood out was the exceptional service, especially from Shannon, the bartender. She is an absolute gem! Always with a warm smile, Shannon not only provided top-notch service but also went above and beyond by making delicious pizzas for the bar. As someone who travels across the country every week, I've encountered many bartenders, but Shannon is easily one of the best I've ever met. Her friendly and attentive nature made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel, especially if you get the pleasure of being served by Shannon!

A lovely property, convenient location. But felt a bit of 'price gouging' as we took the last room (we had to quickly find accommodations after our vacation rental was double booked). We paid approx $100 more than rates for other times (We paid $263). We understand supply and demand but this seemed excessive (our friends we were in the same situation and picked this property). |The room was very nice, but there was no Wi-Fi. Let the desk associate know and received just a lukewarm 'sorry'. |Breakfast was pretty good. |Overall decent, but the price and the lack of basic Wi-Fi really tanked our experience here.

Tried to check-in today around 2pm and was told by one attendant that the rooms were not ready while another stated there were seven rooms but we could not check in. So not only is subject to availability but also up to the attendant. I get it. Arrived back at 4pm and checked in. All went smooth until I walked into the room - all the drapes were closed and noticed that someone else’s name was on the welcome screen. I called down to the front desk to make sure I wasn’t in the wrong room. They informed me that the individual named on the screen was located on the floor below me. Remember when I said drapes were closed - well the drapes were falling off the track. To top it off the room really showed extreme wear and tear. I then headed out to dinner with work associates. Upon return I noticed that the toilet was broken and barely flushed and the sink stopper was also broken. Additionally when I looked in the tub - it was dirty! And to top it off the vanity appears to have toothpaste splattered across the front. I went down to the front desk - reviewed the pictures. They should have never placed anyone in this room. The kicker - no additional rooms are available. I was told the hotel is going through a renovation - but that didn’t help me at all as no other rooms were available.

We went to Hoover for a cheer convention. I chose Embassy Suites because of the spectacular accommodations however they were not present during this trip. When I checked in everything was on par to be amazing until I heard the word renovation. I asked the front desk clerk if everything was okay and working when checking in and she assured me everything was fine. I verified the pool was open and was content with the answer. The room was amazing but cold so I adjusted the temperature. Attempted to adjust several times. We went to pool came back room barely warmed after hours. Went to take shower the water would not get hot.and the drain was clogged .I called front desk and they said they were having heating issues to let water run. I let water running for 20 minutes and never got warm. I go to front desk and explain the issues and a young gentleman looked perplexed and stated they were having issues and that’s all he could tell me. He said he could send a technician up but they would say the same thing. The water issues lasted a day and a half of my two day stay. They cleaned the rooms nicely including taking my multiple dock charger but didn’t leave any face or wash towels. I had to call front desk to have them delivered. Because the competition was all day Saturday and no hot water my daughter couldn’t swim so I asked Dr. Mittie ( forgive is spelling incorrect) if I could at least have a late checkout so she could swim. She was very nice and polite and asked for how long. I stated we would be gone by 1:30. Her uneasiness made me decide not to pursue it even though you could pay 50.00 for late checkout. She did offer until 12 ( check out is 11) but the uncertainty was enough for me to check on time. I was highly disappointed with the entire experience. This is not typical of Embassy Suites. I have pictures.

This was my go to hotel every time I came to Hoover. What's been frustrating is that as Hilton Honors member, you can use the app to check in, but you can't select your room. This was okay when you got your room assignment at the front desk, but they started assigning them before your arrival and the last 3 months, I've been assigned a room on the 2nd floor, either directly looking out on a truly ugly roof, or even have 100% obstructed view. The kicker really is, there's no sheer on the window, so you can't screen the view, but let in the light. It's either drapes open with view or you close the drapes, both options are unappealing for winding down after work. I asked to change rooms, but was told there were no other rooms available. 3 months in a row? Yep, that's what I was told. This hotel is now off my list. Cannot recommend anymore.
