I went here today for a birthday celebration and it was AMAZING.
Our server was wonderful,
the food was delicious and it was served to us with good time too.

The atmosphere was amazing,
and I really loved the art they have on display here,
and the wall with water cascading down was beautiful.
The outside area was really beautiful too in this weather.
And the bathrooms were clean and done well.

I loved the chips and salsa.
The chips were done perfectly and the salsa was especially delicious, and had a smoky flavor.

I got the Enchiladas de pollo con mole, and it was very good.
I would have it again.

There was a fee per person for the birthday cake we brought in if I remember right.

I went for dinner, which was delicious. I had Elvira's specialty salad with grilled chicken. The dressing was homemade and tasty.
The drinks were also tasty.

I would NOT recommend the desserts. Our group had both the flan and fried ice cream. The flan tasted more like a thick custard, not to my liking. The fried ice cream was not fried...it was covered in cereal that tasted taosed,perhaps fried, but from what we were served, it did not look like fried ice cream to me. Except for dessert, I enjoyed my first experience at Elvira's.

Came here as a party of 8 for my wife's birthday. Immediately walking through the doors you feel your leaving your current town behind and welcoming a small glimpse of another culture. Our party was seated almost immediately, the drinks they served were amazing. My daughter's had some huge margaritas, my son's in law and myself enjoyed some cold micheladas and a Elvira's Old Fashion. The food was amazing, the presentation looked delicious all on its own. Desert was delicious as well. Overall the ambient was amazing, there was mexican music playing in the background, but playing at a level that was well balanced. We absolutely loved this place. Thank you to all our servers. We will definitely return with our appetites in the near future.

Nice little Mexican food spot in Claremont - pretty poppin for a weekday ! Came right after work since we had a gift card .. decent food the service was okay 👍 . But they had nice vegetarian options! I got the veggie fajitas and we ordered nachos - also tried the shrimp fajitas - both were decent !

Friendly staff, Fresh ingredients, and amazing delicious entrées.
Atmosphere is mesmerizing. The culinary art, and the interior design, along with the outdoor atmosphere gives a totally renovated vibe to the entire neighborhood.
