Point2 productions hosts great black box theatrical productions here every summer. Some of the most talented young actors and actresses in the area perform!

Elgin Theatre Company also performs here. In 2023, they produced Prodigal Son.
In 2024 Independent Players produced Outsiders here!!

Visited the space on the 8th floor of Elgin Professional Building as part of the Open Elgin architectural tour. Nice space for flexible uses with great views of the city.

The only challenge is the single small elevator that moves very slowly. That could be an issue for gathering larger groups.

This place was so cool. If I remember correctly it was established in 1918. There is so much history with the building alone. I watched the Spring Awakening play which was amazing!!!

The Elgin Art Showcase is a beautiful multipurpose space that can accommodate gallery exhibits, concerts, theatrical performances, benefits, social gatherings and more. It is fully functional with lighting sound and a flexible raised seating configuration. I've attended several events using the space in different configurations and was highly impressed overall. It is available for rental at a reasonable price and sponsored by the City of Elgin, just one of their commitments to nurturing and growing the Elgin Arts community. Plenty of free parking nearby. An elevator and stairs are both available to access this gem of a space.

Mistakenly rated the art Loft. Actually went up and visited this place yesterday very sad to see empty shelves,when the entire Awakenings project room is full of art that needs to be displayed. Very sad that these people would not cooperate with them seeing as they're in the same building. Maybe, They don't think we're all connected.
