I can't believe I've waited so long to finally come and try this place. I've always driven passed it and thought I should go, but never made it happen until this weekend. So stoked to finally try it and mad at myself for waiting so long. All the wasted time. Anyways, got the al pastor burrito and it rocked. Salsa bar is on point and cup for beans. Everything was delicious.

This is probably the best postmates food ive had! kinda mad i havent tried them before cuz they're not far from me. the salsas were legit, the nachos and torta had all the flavor. The aguas frescas were delish.

Best Tortas in town!!! I stepped foot in El Rey in 2013 and have been a loyal customer since! Today one of my favorite vendors, brought in lunch from El Rey. ¡Besos de Lil Rob! I was so excited!!! Thier tortas are the size of a new born baby! Their pickled onions, hot carrots & jalapeños are my favorite condiments that they make on site (not canned)! While today’s lunch was delivered, El Rey did not forget to include them with the meal. Gracias El Rey! If you go in the restaurant expect to be slapped with delicious aroma of all the meats being grilled! While you wait, you can fill your panza with fresh frijoles in pot next to the salsa bar!
Back to my review of the tortas (see photos). They’re filled with meat as juicy as a novela! The variety of tortas was amazing! These aren’t your typical tortas, they have special ones like the Cubano (one of my favorites), Americano, El Rey and codiciada (that’s what I had today)!
I’m still on my stupid weight loss journey, so I only ate half of my torta, which was and always is enough to fill me up. The tortas are so good, I usually will eat a whole one despite being full, hence the weight loss journey! ¡HOY NO SATANAS!

The food quality and price do not match. $4.15 for basic taco. They claim tortillas were hand made but they were regular store tortillas. The alpastor meat was extremely greasy. The seating space is cramped. People are squeezing past each other to get condiments, order their food or to their seats. My wife felt sick to her stomach afterwards
Me and my wife were extremely disappointed and unsatisfied.

I liked their tacos and especially their salsa bar no guac but has many salsas they also give you some free chips and chili and onions if you ask for them buche and cabeza tacos were great

Good food, really fast service, the cooks are very vocal with the customers and make it a more authentic ambience, reminds me of real taquerias from Mexico City.
The food is not cheap but the servings are generous, the tortas are huge, burritos are enormous.
The best part is that I am a fan of the Águilas del América and enjoyed all the club team memorabilia, specially the team jerseys signed by Temo, Ochoa and more ..

OVER PRICED AND LITTLE FLAVOR!! For over $4 dollars a taco I expected an amazing taco! Wrong!!! Look how little they are!
The al pastor lacked flavor and was dry. The asada tasted weird!
I also ordered a "Agua de Mango artesanal" let me tell you they mix flavored mango juice with real chopped mango! It was disgusting and nothing but sugar. No real mango flavor.
The agua fresca de horchata is not natural either! It taste like that fake orchata from "Boing"
The nachos let me tell you for $16 not worth it. They serve them in a compartmentalized tray gives it volume but its actually less because of the space taken.
I will never come back! I'll stick with the tacos from street vendors! I spent almost $70 dollars for 8 tacos, 1 nachos, and 2 aguas!
