This place is a nightmare on a Saturday morning. I've never seen an establishment run so poorly with this many people waiting. Why aren't there chairs? Why don't the employees put the food on the pickup shelves? It's chaos. I made an online order for the maple bagel and 25 mins later they tell me they don't have any left. I've been standing here for 15 mins and the whole time they are telling me it's being made. I will never return. No refund.

Staff are very Rude. They told me to wait 15 to 20 mins but with the bagel cut 30 mins. I went back 35 mins and my order was not ready yet. I asked if it was cut they said they don’t cut because it’s still hot and the lady was sooooo rude. Don’t buy your bagel in H st Chula Vista.

Its terrible San Diego lacks good bagel spots. This place you are always rushed and the service isn't very good. But now you don't even get what you pay for. Burnt bagel you find out after you get home. Who the hell puts that in a customers order and thinks that's acceptable.

STFD. Chopped bacon infused jalapeno with cheese. Have you tried this new bagel? We all know bacon makes everything taste better, unless you're a non-meat eater or anti-pork. Einstein's has a variety of bagels for all palette's. Sweet, spicy, onion, dessert, plain all types of choices. The bagels are easy to chew and enjoy whether toasted or not.

I usually come between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. and there's generally a long line. Although the service is quick, there is a wait. Each bagel range between $2-350 depending on the topping.

Einstein's in general is a four star but this location needs to monitor how many customers enter because it's too small and crowded. I remember when the restrictions allowed 4 indoors at a time and this worked well. Go back to that please.

The only tip I have is ask for light butter because there is so much butter you will get cholesterol. Or you can choose cream cheese peanut butter, almond butter, Nutella, margarine, nothing, or other topping choices. Better yet, pre-order and pick up to avoid the long line and crowded indoors.

Great customer service. Location is easy to access. Ample variety. Indoor and outdoor seating. This most recent visit the organization of servers was off. Coffee was too weak, and another was out. Made my quick stop turn into a lengthy one. I'm not sure why it seemed disorganized.

They always have the freshest, tastiest or i should just say the best bagel in town.. i love getting bagels here coz its waaaaay better than the other ones.. will definitely come back for more bagel 😋😋😋

not a friendly place to go. just a squished line of people with little room to move. I have tried to place my order online to save time in the awful line, but you can only order a dozen of the same kind online. If you want to have a dozen mixed and matched, you have to try calling in, usually i have to make several calls before i can talk to a real person to order. Then when i get there, i still have to wait in a long line just to pay.
Highly inefficient way to run a business. That must contribute to the extreme high prices. At this point i am actively looking for an alternative place to buy bagels for work.
I have noticed there's a lot of complaints about this store and there is always a canned answer to every negative review. Although nothing seems to get done, they always reply to our reviews and say that they want us now to go to their website and tell him how bad they are. We've already explained how bad they are on this site. Management of this store really needs to get their act together!

I recently stopped by Einstein Bagels, and I have to give a huge shout-out to Nikki. She was awesome and really made my day!

Her positive vibe was contagious, and by the time I left, I couldn’t stop smiling. Who knew a quick trip for a bagel could turn my whole day around? If you’re ever at Einstein Bagels, make sure to look for Nikki. She’s a gem and will definitely brighten your day.
