We stopped in for brunch on a Friday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised to see that the restaurant was pretty much full on one end. It was quite happening with people of different age groups and everyone was having a good time.

We ordered
1. Avocado chicken grill sandwich (8.5/10)
2. Gregg's chili and eggs omelet (6.5/10)

The bread was toasted to perfection on the sandwich which I enjoyed throughly. Potato fries were okay. Chili and omelet was fine, we should have taken other skillet / omelet.

Would certainly visit again.

Note for management: kindly pay attention to the water glasses. They do smell.

We recently visited this charming spot and were blown away by the quality of both the food and service. Our experience began with a cup of coffee that arrived in the most amazing coffee cups. Not only was the presentation delightful, but the coffee itself was rich, smooth, and exactly what we needed to kickstart our morning.

For breakfast, we ordered the Eggs Benedict, and it was simply fantastic. The perfectly poached eggs were accompanied by crispy, golden-brown potatoes that added the right amount of texture to the dish. Next up was the Veggie Skillet Garden Scrambler, a fresh and flavorful combination of vegetables cooked to perfection. Each bite was packed with garden-fresh taste and seasoned just right, making it an excellent option for vegetarians like us.

To top it all off, we indulged in the Blackberry and Banana Pancakes, and they were heavenly. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and paired wonderfully with the fresh blackberries and bananas. It was the perfect mix of sweet and tart, and we couldn’t have asked for a better ending to our meal.

Overall, the entire breakfast experience was superb. The attention to detail in the food presentation, combined with the cozy ambiance and friendly staff, made our visit memorable. If you're looking for a place that offers a diverse menu and great vegetarian options, this is it. We will definitely be coming back.

BEST SERVER EVER (not just at this restaurant but anywhere) AWARD GOES TO FILIP!! I’ve never had a server like him! It’s especially rare these days that people take pride in what they do and are as kind as he is.

Just a few examples… Although I’ve been here many times, I’ve never known they had shredded potatoes and maybe I would like them better in my skillet. So I tried something different (unlike me) and I liked them a lot more. He came to check on us at just the right times to see if we needed anything. He also told me how to make my coffee more sweet if needed (regarding pumps of syrup) and told me if I didn’t like it he could get me something else.

The 3 of us all had separate checks and all 3 of us gave him great tips to thank him for his exceptional service! Filip deserves a promotion!

I will definitely be back and will request (and wait) to be seated in his section!

Safe to say based on the photo, the iced matcha latte was good. Wish it was more matcha-y, but was good nonetheless! Highly recommend the lobster scrambler too, it's rich but not too rich 🤤

Absolutely loved my brunch experience at Egg Harbor Cafe! The atmosphere was incredibly cozy and inviting. Their coffee was excellent, and I couldn't get enough of the caprese avocado toast. I highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a delicious brunch in a warm and welcoming setting.

This is one of my favorite breakfast places. On my most recent visit, I ordered the ultimate skillet and one of their current specials, lemon ricotta french toast. The skillet was delicious and the English muffin and house made jam that it comes with equally scrumptious. Truly, I wish I could have that muffin and jam every morning. The french toast was pretty good but I kinda thought it would be better than it was. Service is great and I recommend you join the online wait-list before you reach the restaurant because there is ALWAYS a wait since it is a well loved place. They turn tables over very quickly so the wait isn't long.

We visited the Barrington location this week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. First of all, they have delicious espresso based drinks! And their regular coffee and iced teas are great too. We were warmly greeted and shown to a table by a friendly hostess (kudos to Egg Harbor for employing people in the front of the house who some would consider "disabled"). Our server was friendly and very efficient. I had the lobster and seafood omelet that was filled with chunks of seafood and very delicious. My husband had the San Antonio skillet and he loved it! Very spicy and flavorful. We both loved the house made jam on our English muffins. I read another review that said the portions are small and I must disagree - we both took boxes home. Great experience!

Arrived at 0845. No waiting.
However, our 6 person party got seated in what I would call the family/child area. Noisy with kids yelling. Also, we had to ask several times for more water carafes brought to the table. Also had to ask for silverware, since only 3 sets at our table of 6. This food is always superb. 3-stars on service, and 4-stars on atmosphere, based on our seating location.

Great service. No wait at 0830 when I was there. Wait staff was very attentive. Parking is free, and handicapped accessible. Handicapped entrance and seating is available. The decor is very nice, and has a theme of chickens/avian. Easily visible from road and ample parking in back. Close walk from high school and downtown.
