This is simply my favorite place in Lake Tahoe. I discovered it about three years ago when I lived in the Bay Area. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the waitstaff is excellent—super well-trained, prepared, and polite. The food is extraordinary, and the place itself is stunning and paradise-like, with breathtaking views of the lake. There are two restaurants, and both are exceptional.

I don’t have enough words to express how much I love this place. I’ve been back about five times, and I’ll definitely return again. If you’re looking for a peaceful, clean place with polite people, great food, and an ambiance that gives off an old-money vibe, this is the right spot.

One suggestion—order the fried cheese from the bistro. It’s the best I’ve ever had in my life.

Edgewood Tahoe is one of my favorite hotels in the world, not just for the phenomenal scenery, but for so much more. Although I have a home in South Lake Tahoe, a getaway at Edgewood is always a real treat!

The architecture is unmatched, and the attention to detail is superb. The staff is attentive and incredibly helpful. The spa is lovely, though you do pay a premium for the location.

The food is my absolute favorite part. The Edgewood Restaurant is a spectacular choice for a special occasion or even if you're just in the mood for fine(r) dining. The Bistro is wonderful, and the cheese curds are the best in the world!

Edgewood Tahoe Resort has daily fun activities for my daughter and she had a lot of fun. The room service is great, and it turns out if you leave them a note and ask nicely, you will get a microwave! The best parts were that the pool was heated and there were s'more's every night 6:30-8:00. Edgewood Tahoe Resort what’s their own shuttle, which will be pretty efficient for going anywhere. Despite all this, Edgewood has some hidden fees, such as a valet parking fee of fifty dollars a night! Also, at their restaurant, the Bistro, it was very crowded and we didn’t get the chance to eat inside. They still charged us over a hundred dollars for a small meal. Overall, we like Edgewood Resort, good experience.

Absolutely remarkable hotel! The views, the staff, the rooms were all impeccable. The only downside was that we didn’t stay a few days longer. The Edgewood deserves every bit of their Michelin status and would love to return soon!

Right in Lake Tahoe hotel, the rooms are spacious, the first floor room can open the balcony door to walk across the grass to the lake, the hotel restaurant is also good (slightly expensive), the hotel has an outdoor heated pool and an ice skating rink, the hotel has clothing stores and rent (sell?) Ski gear shops and paradise ski resorts are also close by.

Love this place so much. Hubby and I stay here for our anniversary but this year we decided to have Thanksgiving with our kiddos up here. I had THE best experience that I have to share.
I happened to go to the cafe while the barista was on a little break and an employee by the name of Jason happened to be near by. He went back behind the barista counter and made me two cups of tea and did a wonderful job despite not knowing where everything was. He was extremely kind and when I asked for his name he let me know he was in charge of customer service. That just made too much sense! Thank you Jadon and Edgewood for a beautiful Thanksgiving and a delicious cup of tea!

Not often we leave reviews but this place deserves it hands down. From the first welcome we had with Bruster to every little detail this hotel / staff focuses on, it was truly magical staying here. If you’re considering Edgewood, we couldn’t suggest it more. Be back soon
