I’ve had the chance to stay at East of Yellowstone Lodge twice now—once for a family reunion in November and again for our family Christmas in 2024. This place is a dream! With 40+ acres, there are tons of trails to hike. The main lodge is peaceful, private, beautiful, and huge. There’s also a large mess hall that’s perfect for big gatherings like family reunions or corporate events. Plus, the outdoor fire pit, game room with ping pong and pool tables, a movie room, and more make it a blast. Only 15 minutes from town and 5 minutes from a golf course. The hosts, Keith and Lisa, were fantastic—super friendly and really went above and beyond. It’s the perfect spot for any big event. Highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with close family and friends at East Of Yellowstone and the beautiful Crystal Lodge. The lodge is absolutely stunning and provided ample space for our guests. We enjoyed a bonfire, walks along the trails, the game rooms, and the home theatre. It was a great opportunity for us to catch up with everyone and make new memories. Our hosts were incredibly gracious and accommodating, ensuring that our stay and event were a complete success. Everyone was very impressed with the property and are already talking about a return visit. We highly recommend EOY for any special event!

Absolutely amazing! The owner Keith was super responsive to all emails and texts and was a joy to work with. The lodge is HUGE and immaculate.

Our group was about 20 people (half kids and half adults) and we had such a great time on the property. We all camped in tents one night and then slept in the lodge the second night. There was so much we didnt even get to utilize because there was so much (cabins, outdoor showers). The lodge itself was super clean and we loved the way it was decorated. The game and movie rooms were a huge plus for the kids.

I would recommend this place to everyone but I also dont want the place to get so popular that we wont be able to book it in the future... It really was an amazing weekend we spent here. We will be back!

Our family spent a long weekend decompressing at East of Yellowstone Lodge and Retreat in Dixon, IL. Now I understand why the bookings are for two nights, because the peace that floods into your soul sneaks in when you're asleep.

The grounds are gorgeous - 45 acres of woods with manicured trails, a flowing creek, incredible views of nature - and the sky goes on forever. Birds and wildlife are always passing through.

The Lodge itself is spectacular! There are lots of rooms, plus a game area and movie theater, 4 parlors, full kitchen, and the most comfortable beds you've ever met!

If you require a venue for your wedding or other event, a separate building called The Crystal Lodge will fill the bill. It has gorgeous chandeliers and a deck overlooking the creek. There is no end to the comfort and appointments ready for your group.

Every night we would put on our pjs and amble down to the fire pit for real conversation - the kind you never get to at most gatherings.

But most of all, you somehow feel this LOVE in the air! We all felt it. We left with that love in our hearts! We'll be back - we want to experience this amazing destination again!

We had a fantastic family reunion at East of Yellowstone with over 30 family members spanning 3 generations. The Lodge provided ample space for our gathering and all the amenities we needed. It is a stunning retreat and we could not have asked for more responsive hosts. Highly recommend!

We’ve celebrated our son’s Christening Party here and I just can’t say enough good words about this place!

First of all it’s as clean as you would want it to be. Second it has that beautiful and charming ambiance that won’t let you leave. Last but not least Keith and his wife are just some incredible human beings; they truly care about their guests and will go above and beyond to help you with any of your needs. Will be back whenever we have a chance without any hesitation. Thank you East Of Yellowstone!

Our extended family of 21 from Colorado, Florida, and Illinois met up for a week over the Christmas holiday. It was perfection! Lisa, Keith, and Grant were excellent hosts. The lodge has everything you need and much more. Lots of space and super comfortable for a large gathering. Thank you!

Our family of 20, ages of 6 months to 70's spent Xmas at the lodge. Everything was available to us. Everyone had rooms in the lodge, activities included---pool room,movie theater room,game room. On Xmas eve, we were invited to Christmas at the Barn, a non denominational Xmas service with live animals. Our grandchildren loved it!!! The Lodge was amazing. We will all definitely come again.
