This was one of the most wonderful B n B experiences we have ever had. |Jim greet us when we arrive with a delicious afternoon baked treat that made us feel so welcome. Of course the best welcome we received was from their four golden retrievers!! Both the house and our room are decorated beautifully and had every comfort that we could possibly want. There are several patio areas both upstairs and down around the pool we enjoyed. Of course I cannot forget to rave about the breakfast that we were served each morning, it was truly amazing!!!

We had the most wonderful stay!! The hospitality was truly amazing and the property is gorgeous. It truly felt like we were right at home. Favorites included the beautiful deck (great for stargazing!), the dogs, and the breakfast. COME HUNGRY -- Jim cooks an amazing breakfast and you can expect a few surprise sweet treats to make appearances during your stay. Conveniently located just a few steps off the main drag, it was the perfect home base for the weekend.

A bed and breakfast in Julian with parking, a short walk to main Street AND an opportunity to pet adorable golden retrievers?! For a relaxing weekend in Julian these were some things we considered when picking a place. The owners were very nice and when we arrived 2 dogs greeted us! The location has 4 rooms and we stayed in the autumn room which has its own separate entrance and private patio. Besides the dogs you may be greeted by friendly cats. Breakfast in the morning was family style and you can mingle with other groups staying there and hang out with the doggies. Breakfast had a variety of things to eat which varied from homemade pancakes to individual egg dishes. If you have a diet request (someone was gluten free) they will also accommodate for this. Overall had a nice stay and would recommend to anyone spending a few days in this town.

My daughter and I visited this lovely B&B in May. The hospitality was just what we needed. Jim and Julie are such warm hosts, as well as the Golden Retrievers. ||The breakfasts were so yummy and we were greeted every morning with not only hot coffee, but wagging tails as well. ||This has been a especially hard year for the world. If you need to have your heart filled with love and happiness, I highly recommend staying at this Wonderful Bed & Breakfast.

My husband and I had a wonderful two night stay for our anniversary. Jim and Julie are so friendly and attentive. They make you feel like you are their top priority. When we checked in a delicious homemade crumble was waiting for us in our room. Jim also went out of his way to offer us bathrobes for walking out to the hot tub when it was cold outside. Beautiful house, great pool and hot tub, friendly golden retrievers, delicious breakfast, and located right in downtown Julian. We will be back!

Our hosts, Jim & Julie are highly focused on the wonderful experience of their guests. They regularly ask if there is anything possible that they can do to make your stay better. They know everything about the area and can make connections and offer recommendations. The rooms are wonderful, fully equipped and the beds are very comfy. Then, there are the breakfasts, that are absolutely amazing.

Jim and Julie went out of their way to accommodate my mom and me during our stay. We enjoyed relaxing in the room and swimming under the stars in the pool and hot tub and great conversations with both hosts. The sheets were cozy and clean, bathroom impeccable. I am a plant-based eater (vegan) and was pleasantly surprised to find that my breakfast, chocolate chip cookies, and banana muffins were all vegan!
We will definitely be going back to the Eagles Nest.

Fantastic experience! Jim and Julie are fabulous innkeepers! Clean and comfortable room, amazing breakfast. Jim makes an apple crisp that is truly amazing! Jim and Julie go out of their way to make you feel like family. Enjoyed the hot tub and the 5 golden retrievers were a pleasant bonus.
