Staff were all friendly and efficient. Hotel is welcoming and very comfortable. Room is quality bed and bedding and very clean and quiet. The bar has excellent food and the restaurant is even better. All of the food was excellent. The staff is unobtrusive and very nice nothing snooty. Nothing rude and everyone helpful and friendly.

Very hospitable, small town charm from everyone, food was delicious and priced affordably. Had a great stay!||We stayed in a home managed by the Eagle Ridge Resort.||It was clean and comfortable.||My daughter left a small earring after we checked out and I emailed the resort host and they sent someone to look for it and can't believe found it. ||We felt like the service and attention to us was exceptional.||Definitely recommend!

My family used to go to this resort a lot 15-20 years ago. I decided to book it for a surprise nice warm day in March for our family at the last minute. I was hoping to share some of my nostalgia with my husband and kids. The staff was friendly but the resort is in desperate need of updating. It’s the same as when I was here last. The kids had fun in the pool, but it was just ok. The website states there is a movie in the pool at 8pm, but that didn’t happen (this was a Friday night). This would all be ok if we were getting what we paid for, but all things considered I will not be returning. What you get for what pay is beyond ridiculous. This hotel is no longer a desirable resort. It’s way over priced and outdated.

Although there were some maintenance and communication issues, the staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful. The visit was quite peaceful and relaxing. We especially enjoyed our room with a fireplace. Although we didn’t use the igloos, we’d love to try them during a future stay.

I was very pleased with the spa service and shuttle service but that is about it. The room was not worth the price. Musty smell, carpet looked like it hasn’t been washed ever, moldy peeling wall in the bathroom, old heater, smoke detector falling out of the ceiling and wasn’t even on, cracked furniture, tv volume never moved up, baseboards dirty and cracked, and just an overall cheap motel vibe. Again NOT worth the price! I will definitely vibe back to the spa but never stay in the resort again!

WEDDING REVIEW: We celebrated our wedding at Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa in September 2024, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the very beginning, Maggie and Sarah were incredibly helpful and attentive, guiding us through every step of the planning process. Maggie’s expertise and dedication were evident, and she made us feel confident that our big day would be perfect. On our wedding day, Maggie and Sarah were phenomenal. They took care of all the little details, from setting up the decorations to ensuring that everything was in place. Their meticulous attention to detail allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our special day without any worries. Maggie and Sarah were always available to answer our questions and accommodate any last-minute changes, which was incredibly reassuring. We had our wedding ceremony and reception outdoors on The Point Patio. The outdoor setup was beautiful, and the ambiance was perfect, beyond what we had envisioned. One of our special requests was to have a plated dinner outside, and they made it happen seamlessly. The food was excellent, with each dish prepared perfectly. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious meal and the stunning presentation. The entire team at Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly memorable. Maggie and Sarah's professionalism, warmth, and dedication were instrumental in making our dream wedding a reality. We are so grateful for their hard work and would highly recommend Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa to anyone looking for a perfect wedding venue. Stonedrift Spa makes an awesome bestie weekend even better! Gorgeous, relaxing space with amazing services. My deep tissue massage by Pam was otherworldly…seriously. Tucked away in the hills outside of Galena, you’ll want to add this to your list

We have stayed here multiple times. We stayed recently in February 2025 for a ski trip. During our stay the weather was very cold and the hotel decided to close ALL restaurants and bar during our stay leaving us with no options for dining for two days of our stay. We were one of only three rooms rented out. That should have been one of our first clues about the management of the property currently. ||They gave us no credit or consideration on our bill for the inconvenience. We weren’t planning to ask for anything as the weather is not their fault. We completed our stay and made no complaints. ||Fast forward to today. We scheduled another ski trip because our kids enjoyed it so much. Booked Eagle Ridge again despite the inconvenience of our previous stay. We got a call from the ski mountain letting us know the mountain would be closed due to weather and our private lessons would be canceled. The next day we called the resort to cancel. We were told we would give up our deposit because it was less than 7 days out and no opportunity to move our reservation to another time. I had to speak to the manager of the property to explain what we had just gone through with their own hotel dealing with weather and us not being given the same grace we had to give during our stay. They ultimately gave us the deposit back less a fee but I had to plea my case twice to get that. The overall feeling here is that they do not care if they inconvenience their customers and clients but if you dare ask for help or have to change your plans be prepared to plea your case to people who do not care. Disney is more generous with their cancellation and change policy. Hard to believe. ||We will look elsewhere for our two upcoming trips To Galena this coming year. Shame. We had previously enjoyed it here despite much of the resort being pretty outdated. The arcade is in bad shape and the pool area needs a lot of TLC. It has good views and the room size was nice but the best parts of the hotel are the restaurants and bar. Which unfortunately we did not get to experience much during our stay because the hotel didn’t want to spend the money to open them. We are glad they refunded our deposit, as they should. What I don’t like is being lectured by two people- Angie and Kristen that I should have known the policy and that it’s not their fault about the weather. Funny how we were expected to understand weather just two weeks prior when the hotel was the benefactor of the grace.
