This hotel would be the perfect place to film a horror movie. It looks abandoned, smells like mold and stale cigarettes, and probably hasn’t been cleaned in years. We high tailed it out of there cause there is no way in hell I would even lay my bags down in this dump. Oh yeah and there’s absolutely no service and the dining hell was full of trash. Run! Run in the opposite direction!

There are no words. We called early in the morning to make a reservation and upon arrival late at night after driving 9 hours, we discovered our room had not been serviced. The interior reeked of smoke. Room was dirty and disgusting. Go to the best Western.

The only good I can say is that the room felt clean. Very outdated but clean. The sink and shower water was scalding and took much time adjusting and waiting to cool down. The worse part was the rudeness of the owner. We traveled from a far distance and I called days ahead of time to be sure we could check in that evening and she said that would be okay and to call her cell phone. We arrived just before 10pm with a car chalk full of our son's belonging as he was moving in to college. We called and no answer. We then called about 20 more times and no answer. We then start looking for other hotels/inns but they were all full. By midnight we were exhausted and decided to go back and sleep in the B&B parking lot and took all the belongings out and put them next to the car in order for three of us to sleep in the car. The next morning we got up and called and still no answer. We packed up the car again and left to go find a bathroom. When we got back we called again and this time she answered but said she was running errands and wouldn't be back for awhile. We had college check-in to get to and no place to shower or change. I got upset so she said rudely said she'd leave and finish later. She pulls in next to us with the meanest glare. After explaining the whole situation of the night before, she had the guts to tell us we didn't sleep in the parking lot. She was the most rudest person we've ever encountered in the hospitality business. We'll be finding another place to stay when we pick up son in the spring.

We reserved a room 2 weeks in advance, showed up and the place was locked up and closed. We called and got voicemail. No one EVER came to help us. We got a room at a hotel down the street, thank goodness.

The rooms are small, they’re not super clean in general but the beds were clean. If you’re checking in on a Saturday she doesn’t open the office till around 5pm, she was very sweet though. You’re walkable distance from most of the things to do and places to go. There’s a brewery right next to the building. The one really weird thing is that there was only hot water, no cold water just boiling hot water.

Location is good as the toe is very small.

Service kind of mediocre. No one is here. You have to call to get service.
There is no breakfast as advetised. Over priced for a motel and room is outdated. Walls dirty, small fridge smelled like mold. Toilet was damaged.
Halls where full of construction things and a table was in the way.

Overall: is pricey for the room
Only good thing is that they allow dogs to stay. $25 in addition
$15.. in addition after 2 people.
$125 per night. Supposedly with breakfast.

Very friendly office staff. Room is clean. Very small, uncomfortable beds. $120 per night is a bit much for the quality of the room. However, compared to other prices in town, pretty cheap. Our room was next to the laundry room. We listened to washing machine most of the evening. Rooms are very noisy. Can hear people walking above us. Very noisy outside.

Good location - close enough to walk to the boat harbour for the cruises. The lady at reception - Mary - was very nice and also very helpful and the continental breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast one can find in any hotel that serves that meal. |Those are about the only good things about this place. |The rooms are terrible - outdated, very cramped and sadly lacking furniture - a useable table and chairs at the very least. Why does the hotel industry as a whole think that a room for two only needs one chair? Or a tiny table and no shelves to store toiletries and the assorted goods one carries on holidays? This place is in dire need of renovation. |Perhaps the fact that it says there are 31 rooms points to it being more of a boarding house than a true B&B. |
