What do you picture when you think of a $500/night room from Hilton? Pretty nice, right? Normally. I was just charged over $500 for one night in the dirtiest, noisiest, most dilapidated room I have ever stayed in anywhere. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Not that it matters, but I am a Diamond Honors member, and they actually had the nerve to rent me this room. Oh, and my "pool view" was nothing but a brick wall on the ground floor. The staff was wonderful. The owner has guests trapped, as there are no other hotels in Claremont. So, why spend a dime on maintenance? The owner needs to refund my money. Totally unacceptable.

This is the second time I've stayed here. Both times I found the rooms comfortable and well maintained. I never sleep well in hotels, but the beds are the right kind of firm and the blackout curtains are truly blackout, so this is about as good as it gets for me. The little patios are a nice touch. Good water pressure and water temperature, and my thermostat worked perfectly. ||I had a chronic illness flare up this trip and the night staff was amazing. Desiree, in particular, went out of her way to be helpful- probably the best experience with hotel staff that I have ever had. ||The custodial staff at this hotel are very kind and friendly, as are the shuttle drivers. Front desk staff can be a little curt during busy check-in times, which is understandable and only noticeable in comparison to how uncommonly warm most of the staff is at this hotel. ||The restaurant is very good, but the room service breakfast can be hit or miss. It comes in a plastic delivery container and one of the breakfasts I ordered was delivered lukewarm and was inedibly dry.

Staff are always polite and very helpful. We asked for a fan, and maintenance brought it to our room in 5 minutes! On Christmas
Fresh coffee in the lobby. Lots of snacks there too, slightly pricey.
We go every year.

The hotel is a typical Double Tree style, which offers a good blend of room and dining services. We were having a wedding rehearsals buffet dinner with a cocktail bar. The food was delicious and had good cocktail selections. It's very close to the California Botany Garden, so we could take a casual morning walk and breathe some fresh air. The Trade Joe's is located just across the street so we could get some milk and fruits easily.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing! My husband and I became Ill. They provided room service, ride to the walk in clinic, and took great care of us like we were lifetime friends. Thanks for everything!

I had to reserve a room due to the LA fires. I reserved a king bed online and paid for it ahead of time.

I got to the hotel 30 mins after check-in to the front desk where I met Melissa, the Customer Service Supervisor. She immediately asked for my ID and card without saying welcome or hello. I noticed her demeanor was unwelcoming and also like she didn't want me there. She then tells me that even though I resevered and paid for a king room, they gave that room to someone else and put me in a double bed.

Melissa didn't apologize or offer sympathy and instead processed the key cards for me before sending me away without a verbal tour of the place.

Overall, the room ee got was not what we paid for, and the customer service was bad. Can't recommend this hotel with Melissa being the Supervisor. Melissa, shape up.

We were forced to evacuate from the Eaton Canyon fire and this was closest available room. From our arrival to our departure I've never experienced so much support and patience from hotel staff. From the front desk, to the resaturant and the house keeping staff, they knew we weren't on vacation and were nervous about our displaced future. Every single person had a heart and did their best to make the experience as pleasant as possible. As if that wasn't enough, they kindly (and without being asked) wiped out the bill for each of the three meals we had while we were there. Its also a hidden gem if you want to get away for a weekend staycation and very quiet. Its rare to experience such hospitatlity and even better in desperate times. The room was clean and well appointed. Building two for that weekend was particularly loud. For a Hilton free breakfast would also be a nice touch. Close to amenities and the college.
