We stayed here the night before our flight to Long Beach California. The service was friendly and amazing. We did the park and fly package. When they couldn’t shuttle us to the airport they paid for our Lyft. The shuttle driver on return stayed up just to pick us up from our flight after midnight and dropped us in front of my van. My van was found safe and sound. They went above and beyond to facilitate our needs. ||Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. We will be seeing you again. :))

Pro: location accessible to nearby stores. Thursday front desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping staff was nice and friendly, everyone I passed in the hall said good morning. Nothing spectacular about the rooms.
Cons: Saturday morning breakfast for our conference was an hour late. They overbooked and took 2 additional rooms we had for other events. The bathrooms stopped working on Saturday, leaving only a one stall bathroom available on the first floor, so in order to avoid lines, I had to go to my room on the 3rd floor to use the restroom. The sink in the room bathroom didn't have a lever to push it close and open it back up, so I had to stick my hand in the water to open to let the water out and hold it up because it kept closing. The shower was okay. There was no microwave in the room. It was on the floor with an ice machine, but it was a refrigerator. They charged me for the 2 bottles of water in the room (Desani) $2 each. The electricity decreased in voltage on the days of check out, or the plug by the light was bad because my phone kept decreasing in charge percentage.
My room on Thursday was a whole lot cheaper than the group rate we received. The group rate was $121, and my friend's Hilton Honors rate was $56.

We used this Double Tree for a Sleep, Park and Fly reservation and it was a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the access from the Highway was super easy (even with the construction) and most notably, the shuttle service was great. Louis was our driver to Midway and he was prompt, polite and helpful. John was our driver on the way back from the airport and the most valuable thing to us was that he was there when we needed him. They keep track of flight times and do their best to be ready when you are. John was a wonderful driver and made the ride through 4:00pm traffic quirt pleasant. Thanks to Double Tree and a BIG shout out to Louis and John. They were great!

This hotel is dated and needs attention. The rooms were fairly clean but not very spacious. The comforter was kind of dirty. The staff seemed disinterested in us. The on-site restaurant was ok. It's definitely expensive, but the portions were decent, and so was the food. Our kids didn't swim long because a group of loud and obnoxious people came in and made the kids and us adults feel awkward and unsafe. I would definitely not return to this hotel.

Good location close to the highway. Got to pick your room near the elevators because you can tell the farther down the hall the less they check on the rooms. Had spider webs all round my room. They put me in 539 the last room on the floor and it’s dusty. Sharon the front desk lady had a rude attitude from the jump. She will not greet uou and I hate to say it’s a race thing but the evidence is there with who she greets and others she will not even acknowledge even if you’re standing in front of her at the desk. I called down to talk to her about my member benefits and she didn’t answer so I went down to the restaurant. And called again just to see if she would answer she just looked at the phone and didn’t nothing even when no one was occupying her time. I been to the hotel before and my first bad experience. But my rooms are usually near the elevator. And I never had to deal with Sharon before. Since I work at Hilton I use my team member discount all the time this by far the worst experience.

This hotel is really nice for the price point. The lobby was clean and welcoming. I'd say the room was above average for the area and price. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and updated. When I'm back in town, I will without any doubt stay here again.

Very clean, large room. Went for only one night, could have stayed longer. Friendly staff at check in. Got a good night sleep. So far one of our best hotel experiences in the US.

If I could give this location 0 stars I will would.||||Let me preface I’ve stayed at double tree countless of times and never had an issue.||||First, during check in the front desk staff was unfriendly and didn’t initially acknowledge us on arrival. I had to wait until she was done doing whatever was ā€œmore importantā€ than checking me in. It took about 15 minutes. No apology. First red flag.||||Secondly, the toilet overflowed. I called the front desk 5 times before someone was sent to my room to assist. This was over an 2 hour span.||||Once maintenance arrived he fixed the toilet and instructed us to take towels and clean the floor. Are you kidding me? I asked him to please send housekeeping.||||Once house keeping arrived around the hour mark. They took towels and wipe the water up. I asked if their were any disinfectant measures. The lady pointed to the towels. I ask for the manager. The head of house keeping arrived and stated ā€œWe haven’t had a mop in 12 yearsā€ Whaaat I asked how were they disinfecting the floor. She stated with a towel and broom. I explained that I don’t do this at my own home and I needed the floor clean. I asked her to disinfectant the floor because toilet water had travel all over the floor onto the carpet.||||She finally came back over an hour later and after me contacting Hilton with a mop and wiped it up in about 2 seconds literally. I was thinking there’s no way this is clean, but I was tired of the battle.||||The whole time after that our room spelled like moth balls. Stuffy and hot.||||I attempted to contact the manager about the smell and he sent a security guard with air freshener. WITH AIRWICKS AIR FRESHENER?!!!!||||I explained to the security guard that air freshener is not a resolution. He stated, ā€œI’m just the security guardā€||||I asked if he could get the manager. Once the night manager arrived he was combative and not willing to resolve the issue. He stated, ā€œHere’s the dealā€ and started to ramble about my room had been on the service request list (due to the overflowing toilet).||||I explained to him that the water had reached the carpet and no one clean it up . He told me that he wasn’t going to help me and I needed to speak the day manager.||||Lastly, the elevator door broke in from of us. The guest had to try and close it.||||To add to the torture the cookie was old and hard. Also, the guest services text was useless. They never responded when I made requests.||||PLEASE AVOID THIS LOCATION. It seems more like the Motel 6 in which they share parking. Stay Away!
