... Granted this was a business trip so I'm not sure I would have chosen this place otherwise. It does have great views on the waterfront and decent gym with a good size pool in sauna comment so it definitely gets points there. It's just that it's Rundown and when it's raining there's a lot of water leaks everywhere. It needs some serious renovations. Overall not a bad experience my major complaint is the on-site restaurant is not super great with their service and the food is overly expensive with average portions. Overall it was a decent experience just not five stars.

Five-day work stay. It was fine, staff was friendly. Great view of the marina, but that's the main thing for which you're paying. Public-facing areas like the lobby, restaurant, and outdoor space are well-kept, but the rooms are in serious need of a refresh. There was a balcony, but no furniture and the sliding door lock was broken, so it was never used. Breakfast is overpriced. Hot water went out the second day that I was there, had to go shower in a room in a different building. Large property laid out strangely like a maze. I consistently stay with Hilton when traveling for work, this was the least satisfactory experience I've had so far. I might stay again if I'm town for a short visit, but never again for an extended stay.

Rooms are spacious and clean. However heating is loud. Great view of San Francisco and Golden Gate. Staff are attentive. The hotel generally could need some facelift. Furthermore, the breakfast room was chilly every day so that I started wearing as many layers as possible. Coffee was disappointing, but breakfast omeletts were great. So was the tuna tartar by night.

Now I understand that things happen so I can give them some level of grace. With that being said, the evening staff, mainly Tanzania, at least she was the one who was texting me that evening, was beyond inappropriate.

Chain of events:
I get arrive in the evening and had a digital key through the app. I still stopped at the front to get physical keys. No card was requested because I used the app.

I get to my room and some dude is blasting trap music and smoking cigarettes. Cool cool. Not their fault, they were super sweet about me moving rooms.

I get breakfast in the morning and charge the $41 to my room. No big deal. I do it at every Hilton.

8:30PM - after a 13 hour work day, I get 3 separate phone calls to my room. Mind you, I’m in bed with the lights off literally sleeping. I answer the phone and this rude woman tells me, at 8:30pm, that I need to get out of bed and pay for my breakfast because the night manager is doing an audit. Like what

I proceeded to tell this woman that I would gladly give her my card over the phone or the next morning but she said no and I needed to come down.

She then said she would be sending her manager to my room to pick up my card. And I simply told her absolutely not. I don’t want anyone to have my card information and also I’m in my pajamas with no bra on, I don’t want some Manager up in my business while I’m trying to sleep.

Then she hung up on me. After she said she was sending her manager up. Luckily that person never came.

So I’ve just told this woman, I had a 13 hour workday, it’s 8:30PM, I’m lights off asleep in my pajamas and she insists that I get out of bed to pay for my breakfast because they couldn't figure out how to charge it to my room.

Miss Tanzania, you have disturbed my peace and ruined my day.

Today, we checked out of the Hilton hotel, and I can confidently say that this will be our last Hilton reservation ever.

We had booked the hotel through Expedia, despite being Hilton Honor members. However, I noticed a charge on my account and called the hotel to inquire about it. The receptionist simply explained that we were not Hilton Honor members and were therefore charged for the water. I clarified that I was a member, but they insisted that since we had booked through a third party, we needed to pay the full rate.

Oh, and there was this other thing that caught our attention. The rooms in the photos looked so much better than they actually were when we got there. They were super outdated and not as cool as we had imagined.

On the positive side, the receptionists who checked us in and the one I had contacted before our arrival to inform the hotel about our late check-in were very friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel was convenient and quiet, which was a plus.

Stayed here for a work trip and got BED BUGS. Literally had to fly home early and wash all of my clothes and couldn’t finish out the week at the client. Scoured the room and found a bunch of dead bed bugs surrounding the bed frame caked into the carpet (room 1308). Additionally, this hotel needs major upgrades. All hardware in the rooms was rusted, shower fan needs a major cleaning and was pretty disgusting, window curtains needs to be replaced, balconies need to be power washed… just felt dirty. The only positive about this hotel is that the staff is very friendly and I was fully reimbursed for my stay. I do plan on requesting my company take this hotel off of their list of hilton’s to choose from. Our team won’t ever stay here again. I have a video of the bed bug crawling but I can’t attach a video.

Update: some of my bites are spider bites and other were bed bugs. My finger has been swollen for days.

Honestly the view of the marine is beautiful and we booked our staying through a third party. But 1 star off for the spots on some pillows covers and some towels which made me question the cleanliness of the room :/ & 1 star off for the rudeness of the waiter in the boathouse restaurant during breakfast and I didn’t feel welcomed and she didn’t show any hostility usually you would hear thank you, sorry, please non I heard in the right time of the conversation & I had to ask for an empty class/cup of water 3 times till she finally brought it without any friendly or hospitality gesture and at the market next to the lobby the lady was dry as well and explained something harshly although it was a simple question, both ladies didn’t respond to me saying thank you more than once although it’s a friendly conversation from my side
&the third star off to the noise that starts very early during our stay although its written on the note that it will be between 10am-2pm it starts before 9 am even and around 7ish am and the drilling was scary to our kids and its uncomfortable experience
From different aspects not like other Hilton branches. However 1 star I added was to the taste of the breakfast and the experience of the heated pool + 1 star to the marine view + 1 star that they removed the parking fee although it wasn’t enough but at least they did something. I wish they increase the temperature of the jacuzzi because it was not warm enough even for my kids lol

I’m so disappointed. I stayed here with my mother and had a wonderful time. This time around I stayed here with my partner and we were so disappointed in the service. The room cleaning staff was wonderful, but the front desk was very rude and racist to my partner and I. We asked for body wash, since our room had been left without it by mistake, and never received it. We had to go get some ourselves. A woman at the front desk was rude to my partner when he checked in. When I went to ask for directions, after check in, I was asked to show my keycard before one of the front desk workers would even look up at me. Then when I showed her it she changed her tune slightly but was still extremely rude. I am a black woman from the south, but never in my life have I experience something like this. DO NOT stay here if you’re black. They are very racist, especially the older woman at the front desk with a bob. Stay away from here. She was borderline dangerous.

I hope they do better in the future but I will NEVER come here again nor recommend anyone else.
