Visited out of town for a wedding. The views of the mountain and sky during the ceremony never in your life will you see that. The layout is a ranch. Cabins and saloon dot the complex. Be advised the road to DDX ranch is winding and no street lights at night. Cody is 45 mins from the ranch. So either stay at a cabin or leave before dusk. There is no cell service out there. Ryan the bartender was excellent in service and provided knowledge of where to visit in Cody. Matt the owner and his wife were pleasant and accommodating to guests requests and needs. Rustic, country and simple times feel to be in big sky country. 9.1/10

We held our wedding weekend at DDX and had couldn’t have been happier with everything! What an absolutely amazing place to host an event! Jenine and Matt and their family were friendly and welcoming. We had lots of out of town guests staying on the property for our wedding long weekend, as well as planning for the ceremony and reception, so it took quite a bit of organizing but Jenine and Matt helped us every step of the way and all of our guests had the best time. The cabins are so cosy and clean for staying in and also for getting ready on the wedding day, and the main lodge area and saloon were fantastic gathering areas for our guests, both on the wedding day, and for festivities like our bachelor/bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinner, wedding day breakfast etc. throughout the whole long weekend. There are so many options of beautiful locations for a wedding ceremony, both indoors in the pavilion and outdoors. We chose an outdoor riverside ceremony with a mountain backdrop and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. We had our reception in the covered pavilion area, which had tons of room for dancing and eating dinner with big windows, a porch, and open barn doors so guests could still enjoy the stunning views and evening breeze. Our guests also loved the fire pit and sitting around it with family and friends was such fun way to end the night! We had the best wedding weekend and we can’t recommend DDX enough as a wedding venue!!

We had a great stay with a number of family and friends. They have a variety of cabins perfect for any size group - 2 thru 10. We had 5 comfortably in the Sioux cabin. Our friends in groups of 7 and 4 were equally happy. Matt and Jenine really made us feel at home ... Nick was a very accommodating fishing guide. Food was really good. In short, it was a great relaxing stay!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐||Our visit was nothing short of spectacular! The grounds are immaculately maintained and exude beauty at every turn. The ranch owners go above and beyond in their hospitality, ensuring our comfort and safety – even offering bear spray for us when we wanted explore the hiking trails. The cabin provides a delightful blend of rustic charm and modern luxury, making for a truly unforgettable glamping experience. Highly recommended! Perfect for those wanting to get married in a beautiful area!

Had just a couple days to get away and wanted somewhere we could hike, enjoy some beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife. This place was absolutely perfect the host were so welcoming, the cabins were clean and comfortable and the views were stunning. We love hiking and photography and were amazed with all the beautiful photos we were able to take of scenery and animals. The recommended hikes were perfect. Need a weekend get away this place is perfect. Highly recommend and yes we will be bringing friends and family so they to can enjoy as well. Jake and Marilyn

This is such a special place! From the minute we arrived we felt right at home. The cabins are adorable! We explored the massive property on our own the first day and then saw more stars than you could ever imagine! Took a 1/2 day fly fishing trip with Nick the second day- amazing! Caught more than 20 fish! Had a great dinner there with Matt and Jeanine and fam (the owners) and other ranch guests. Wish we’d had more time there!

Double Diamond X Ranch hosted a wedding event I planned and were the most accommodating and gracious hosts. They coordinated with me well in advance to make sure they could be ready for me when I got there and checked in with me the day before to see if there was anyway they could make my day better when I arrived.

When I arrived everything I had coordinated with them was prepared for me and anything else I asked for on the day of was provided.

I chose Double Diamond X for this event because of the beautiful scenery and was not disappointed. There are mountains everywhere you look and a river that you can hear from the cabin I was in.

My husband and I just hosted our wedding at DDX and CANNOT say enough incredible things. Matt & Jenine were incredibly kind, accommodating, thoughtful, and helpful throughout the entire 1.5 years leading up to the wedding and the wedding itself. I super appreciated their flexibility as we chose some non-traditional things to make the wedding feel like "us". The lodging on property was so convenient and comfortable and the views...THE VIEWS!!! Jaw dropping. Our guests had the absolute best time and could not rave enough about how beautiful and perfect the ranch was. They truly helped us to have a wedding I could've only dreamed of — people who have seen photos since say it looks like it was out of a magazine! BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!!
