Came here on 12/27/2024 at 12:30pm to use the pool and well the Men’s Locker/bathroom can definitely need sweeping/mop other than that it’s decent pool and place. I would’ve given 5 starts if locker/bathroom wasn’t dirty and it appears it hasn’t been clean in a while. Anyone coming to this place make sure got crocs or shoes in the Men’s Locker room.

The Don Nash Community Center is a clean,full service recreational Chicago Park District facility to exercise ,swim( spots fill up fast), along with a wide variety of activities for the whole family. The staff is helpful and professional. Take the time to get fit and explore other activities, you'll be glad you did. 🙂👌🌷

I stopped by trying to play pickleball, expecting an instructor and equipment at 9am on a Thursday (per the sign out front.) But they were like "the season's over, come back in a month."

There's so much potential here. There is a great pool, indoor courts, training rooms, and other amenities. The park supervisor is not very nice and set in her ways. She doesn't seem to understand how having programs and activities for children may aid the community. That's unfortunate.

I gave them a 4 star rating no only because its a park District that makes you Sign up for a membership to play basketball I mean this place is for the community but because it is a place you can go for a nice swim and they have a nice fitness center. And they also have a summer program for small children .

Love it here, I don't live on the east side but my son has been coming here for camp for the last 5 yrs. I love that the director demands order. Every summer my son looks forward to coming to camp swimming.

So much potential here. They have a nice pool, indoor courts, workout rooms and more. Park supervisor is rude and stuck in here ways. The neighborhood kids call her the wicked witch of the east.
Seems she does not get how having programs and things to do for the kids can help better the community. Sad to see that.
