Such a gem by the park — traditional and local. Dolores Park Cafe is one of those cozy neighborhood spots that instantly makes you feel at home. The hot chicken sandwich is crispy, flavorful, and just the right kick! Pair it with a great coffee and you're set. The vibe is always relaxed, whether you're grabbing a quick bite or hanging out with friends. The staff is kind and welcoming, and the outdoor seating is perfect for people-watching or soaking up some sunshine. A must-visit if you're at Dolores Park!

This place is solid: delectable breakfast and coffees. I am a bit disappointed about their tolerance for allowing non- service dogs in their establishment. I’m particularly upset because it seems like this is allowed with small dogs but not big dogs.(see second photo of lady with the dog on her lap.) During a week in SF I was here and then at the Duboce Park Cafe and there was a dog in there too.

Outstanding design : feels like we are in the living room of a friendly and spacious house ; views of the park and courts gives it a sense of a community; refreshing homemade lemonade. Server and barista are nice . I will have to order sandwich or salad here.

Friendly café next to Dolores Park, I only had a coffee but the food looked great and the whole place smelled amazing!
(I saw they had gluten free options and many vegetarian options as well)
The staff was super helpful and nice to everyone that came and went.

Pricy, bland, and disappointing.

I had one of the worst matchas of my life here. $6 for something that tasted like the color green. It did NOT taste like matcha. That was straight up algae. How hard is it to mess up matcha?
And the breakfast burrito. I had a veggie breakfast burrito, and was with someone who had a non veggie breakfast burrito. They were bland as hell!!! Especially for the price of $14 each It was missing flavor. The burritos came with tater tots or fruit. Even the tater tots tasted stale. How hard is it to mess up tater tots?

One thing I will give this place is that the service was kind and it’s conveniently right next to Dolores park. That’s it tho, the food I had was trash.

The smell when you walk in front invites you to go in and order.
I had the Avocado Toast and added the bacon because the smell of bacon was so inviting…
The best bacon I had in a long time.
I also tasted the Red Eye smoothie, and is delicious.
Great place, good food, friendly staff, and not pretentious.

Their hot chipotle chicken panini is sooo good!! One of the best I have had. Especially that rye bread it was sandwiched with was baked to perfection❤️❤️
