I came here with my husband for a 90-minute massage and specifically requested, on the intake form, for the focus to be on my lower back and shoulders. However, my masseuse spent nearly half the session—no exaggeration—on my scalp. I realized just how much time was spent there because, while I was already flipped onto my back, my husband was still having work done on his back.

The excessive focus on my scalp left me with a headache, and for three days afterward, my scalp was so sore and sensitive that I couldn’t even put my hair up. I initially chose not to leave a review because I called to address the issue and hoped they would make it right. Unfortunately, it’s been over two weeks with no response.

Because of their lack of follow-through and unwillingness to resolve the situation, I’m now sharing my experience. I hope this helps others make a more informed decision before booking, or even avoids them having a similar experience.

Dolce Vita Day Spa is ann excellent place to unwind. Angelina is awesome as an esthetician. She is thorough and gentle in her technique. Fay is wonderful. I would highly recommend Dolce Vita Day Dpabto family, friends and neighbors.

I arrived at 9:45a for 10a massage and facial. The spa facility indoor temperature was extremely cold. I commented on the cold temperature and received the response that it's always cold.
I was disappointed to experience the very cool massage room & having to lie down on a non-warmed massage table. Following the massage, I had to sit in the FRIGID waiting room. I shivered in there.
I experienced much of the same during my facial. The satin sheets severely chilled me in the cold room. I had to request the esthetician to bring a blanket to put between me and the cold satin sheet.
I've never experienced this kind of chill in a luxury spa environment. Attention and effort to ensure a customer's ambiant temperature comfort in the spa environment is absolutely necessary. My expectation for a reasonably comfortable warm spa environment was not met. If my request for 10a spa treatments were accepted and booked, the rooms should have been adequately pre-warmed. I'm very dissatisfied with my frigid experience at Dolce Vita spa. I feel the loss of considerable expense in receiving less than a relaxing, warm spa environment.

I’ve been going to Theresa for a facial treatment for over a year and can’t express how incredible she is! I have hyperpigmentation and sensitive skin. She’s been able to provide stellar results in having it fade - her knowledge and skills sets about skin is truly remarkable. She uses Obagi and other high-end products and delivers a relaxing experience. The front desk team to ownership are
professional and always deliver a 5-star experience. I’m a believer in you get what you pay for and the services here are no exception. I’ve referred family, friends, and even colleagues and everyone comes up with the same consensus - they’re the best. Do yourself a favor and try it out. You will become a repeat customer in no time.

They tried to charge my friend a full massage because we had a mix up and thought we both had gift cards to the same spa. I explained the situation and the staff up front didn't seem to have a problem with her cancelling. They let me go back and do my massage and then when I was done told me they were going to charge my card the full price of my friend's massage due to the late cancellation. Talk about all of my relaxation being taken away! If I would have known that they were going to charge me I would have given my friend the opportunity to stay and just pay for her massage or talk with them about a solution, but they didn't tell me until after and tried to make me pay for services that were not performed or received. That's a terrible business policy. I understand a cancellation fee but paying for the entire thing is ridiculous especially after explaining what happened and our mix up. I will never come here again.

The atmosphere here is relaxing immediately when you walk in. They offer many drinks to chose from before and after your session which you can enjoy in the relaxation room, that also has treats. Everything is very clean. The massage therapists are very kind and attentive.

I got a surprise birthday massage here that cost alot, and although the massage therapist was nice. She just wouldn't stop talking! I wasn't able to relax and enjoy the experience. It was annoying and frustrating!I also had shown on the form that I have sciatica, and it was overseen by the massage therapist and I came out with worse nerve pain. I wouldn't go back. I felt much worse than how I felt coming in! Oh and that too on my birthday!

Very nice place. They offer you a drink when you come in. Nice robes and sandals to change into. A relaxation room with dim lighting, nice music, and some nature images on a TV.
The whole place was clean. They were on time.
