Been awhile since we came here.

Saturday around 11 AM. Parking can be challenging since there is ranch 99 and other restaurants. We were able to sit right away.

Things I personally liked:
Salt & pepper tofu
Salt and pepper fish
Tripe-good sized portion
Rolled shrimp noodle
Rolled Chinese donut
Xo noodles

Service was good. Plates cleared fast. Some staff doesn’t speak much English but will call over someone else to help.

This place is a hidden gem. Has a great selection of dishes. The flavor and consistency in quality has always been great. My 2 year old really liked the beef ribs and fried rice. Ive visited 8+ times and ir has always been of a good experience.

Dim Sum King is one of the go-to spots for dim sum in Daly City, and it's easy to see why. Packed during breakfast and lunch, it's a popular place for locals to gather with friends and family for a traditional yum cha experience--drinking tea, chatting, and catching up.

We came here to meet a friend we hadn't seen in years, and the atmosphere was perfect for our reunion. Although there's no traditional dim sum cart service, the paper menu system works well. You simply check off the dishes you want, and they're brought out quickly--steaming hot and fresh.

Here's what stood out:
* Food: The baked char siu buns were the highlight--fluffy, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. Most of the dim sum dishes were good quality and freshly made. They also offer roasted duck during dim sum hours, which is a unique touch.
* Service: Quick and efficient, as you'd expect in a bustling dim sum spot.
* Ambiance: Typical Chinese dim sum restaurant vibes--bright, lively, and full of energy.
* Parking: The biggest downside. The restaurant is located next to the always-busy 99 Ranch Market, making parking a serious challenge.

Overall, Dim Sum King delivers on authentic flavors and a welcoming atmosphere. Come for the food, stay for the conversation, but prepare for some parking frustration.

This place is great. Especially for noodles. Braised tofu is superb as are the rice cakes. Especially the cilantro one. Unreal. This place is really authentic. They don’t speak much English, but definitely enough to accommodate basica. Plus all of the servers look like they smoke marlboro reds, which to me, makes them even more authentic. The food here never disappoints. The beautiful hum and buzz of Cantonese language in the background amongst both customers and employees alike was harmonic murmur to the ears. Do yourself a favor and go here.

Good typical Chinese Dim Sum restaurant.
I tried numeros dishes andall wheregrate. as expected the service is fast.
it is recommended to order the dishes 2-3 at a time so the next round comse hot right when you are ready to eat it.

Hands down best dim sum we have ever had! Place was clean, easy parking, wonderful food, cannot say enough good things about Dim Sum King!

The moment I walked into Dim Sum King, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was buzzing with a casual vibe, just as I like it--lively but not overly loud. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious and authentic.

I started my meal with the shrimp dumplings, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. I also tried the pork siu mai, which was tender and juicy. The steamed pork buns were soft and fluffy, and the chicken feet and spareribs in black bean sauce were flavorful and satisfying.

I'm a big fan of Jiaozi dumplings and was not disappointed with the ones at Dim Sum King. They were perfectly cooked and had a delicious filling. The Cheong fun was also delicious, and the turnip cake was a unique and flavorful dish I'll try over and over again.

The service at Dim Sum King was excellent. The staff was always attentive and helpful and happy to make recommendations. The prices were also reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food.

I had a fantastic time at Dim Sum King. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was low-key. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dim sum experience.

Came in for a brunch on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant has a good crowd. We had live lobsters, steamed fresh fish, pea sprout with tofu, roasted pork, steamed chicken, steak with mushrooms, and some other dishes. The seafood were really fresh. The beef was tender. Overall, yummy food at good prices.
