Came here on a Sunday. Waitress was not too friendly. Took a long time to even get drinks or take our order.
By the time I did receive my order (cheeseburger), there were no fries with it. I asked “are my fries coming?”
Reply: “oh, burgers don’t come with fries. Would you like to order some?”

No duh. Don’t all burgers come with fries? Now I had to wait 30 more minutes for fries with my burger. My burger was cold by the time they finally brought them. Said I don’t want them at this point. Didn’t receive an apology or anything.

Been the first time I’ve been here in probably 15 years? I won’t be coming back. Oh, and I was still charged for the burger I did not eat (because it was too cold by the time my fries came out).

I’ve been wanting to try this diner out. It’s a long wait since it’s a popular spot. I ordered an omelette with the usual sides. The food was good but not great. When I got the omelette I was surprised that I was a plain egg omelet laid on top of the ingredients, instead of all of it cooked together. And it looked like they used 2 eggs instead of the usual 3-4 eggs for an omelette.

I’d go again but I would try a scramble, sandwich or simple egg-plate instead.

Diggers is a special place, their food is always delicious and the value is incredible. The people, just wonderful, all great. Places like this are what make me love living in Concord.

I haven't had anything bad on their menu yet and it's one of my favorite places, so I've tried a lot of stuff. Their corn beef hash is STAND OUT. But you can really go wrong getting anything on the menu. Great burgers, awesome variety of fries and sides, great shakes, and breakfast to die for.

I've been meaning to write a review, but the particular morning subject to writing this, I was hungry so decided to order take out so I could finish my work. And here at 8:30ish in the morning I call and get a nice voice thanking me for calling in. Took my order, gave me my time, and something about the conversation made me know it would be a good day. All that and I haven't even ate the food yet. What a way to start a day!

THANK YOU Diggers Team for all the amazing food, I'm glad you guys are here and I love what you all do. To any one that hasn't tried them, what on earth are you waiting for?

The food is always incredible. The service is always friendly. Great atmosphere when you just want to get away and enjoy good tasting diner food with friends and family. I got nothing bad to say about this place. A good friend of mine brought me here years ago and I'm just happy Diggers Diner is still there. It always brings back good memories from the first bite. Try it for yourself and you'll see what I'm talking about. (Try their specialties... the pictures below shows that I did... the Crypt Burger was amazing!)

Fast and good food! I always get the diggers special with ground beef instead of bacon and it consistently delicious! The owner is there frequently and goes around checking on tables and talking to kids and everyone! The family diner feel 🙂

Thoroughly enjoyed my ENTIRE experience!! Friendly, informative, prompt service. Mickie suggested the pretzel bun for the Twentieth Anniversary Burger and it was OUTSTANDING! Garlic fries were potent.

There's more character on the walls than a lil bit; that's when you know you're in a great spot

12/13/23:
My sister and I came in starving after sitting at the hospital all day. Staff was prompt in seating us. Clean restroom for the ladies. Jasmine, our waitress was amazingggg!!! I ordered a tuna melt with lettuce tomatoe and extra cheese, and it was o. Sourdough bread. So good. My sister said the beef brisket sandwich was THE BEST she had ever had! Hot fries, $7 glasses of chardonnay. The Ceasars salad was fresh, and the dressing was fresh. The best thing is the owner "Digger" came over to check on the tables and make sure we were happy. Loved that! Branding is everything!

Sandra was our server today, and she was bright, bubbly, and professional. Today, little sister ordered a spicy pattie melt with fries. I ordered the mushroom swiss burger with everything, along with onion rings. I am not disappointed, and if they had one in east Orlando Fl....I might move in. LOL, but seriously...Thank you diggers diner for being awesome when we were not feeling awesome when mom was sick. You gave us hope, good spirit, kindness, and professionalism that shows the owner loves the staff like family while holding high standards. ❤️

This is a great restaurant, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very nice. The food always comes out quick and the waitresses are always checking in on you. I definitely recommend this restaurant
