Diamond Oaks is absolutely amazing!! From the moment we walked into this beautiful venue to tour it, we fell in love instantly. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and I give credit to this venue and the owners for that. Scott and Gwen made us feel so welcomed and made the entire process so dang easy. They are willing to go above and beyond to make your day perfect. They take care of little details that you don’t even think about throughout the wedding day. The venue includes tables, chairs, linens, decor options, transportation from venue at end of the night, clean up at end of the night and stunning views for pictures. If you’re looking for a rustic, indoor/outdoor, barn venue with so much charm this is your place. I can’t recommend Diamond Oaks enough!

We had a mid-October wedding. The owners had great communication all through the process and were willing to honor any requests. We utilized many of their decorations and also had the opportunity to bring in our own. They offer staff/workers available for the night, if the family wishes to hire. Cost was reasonable and the staff was tremendous. Highly recommend. They took care of everything: picking up tables, cleaning, helping to pack everything at the end of the night, and I most appreciated that I left the reception around 10:00 to go clean the bridal suites (where the wedding party gets ready) and they had already cleaned it. I appreciated not having to miss time at the reception. We used their speaker system for the outdoor wedding and all went smoothly. We also paid for the bus service to pick up guests at hotels prior to the wedding and return trips. I appreciated this option, since they are out in the country. They offer to take the wedding party in the bus for a short ride after ceremony and to take some pictures (and have many outdoor photo opps). The bridal suites are small for getting ready, which we knew, but the beautiful location was worth it. The barn at night with the lighting, open doors, and decorations is breathtaking. We had many, many compliments. We would highly recommend.

When we started looking for our wedding venue, Diamond Oak was our first stop. We made an appointment to go see the place and we knew INSTANTLY this was where were were going to get married, we didn't need to look any further. Gwen and Scott made the entire process easy. Gwen had so many great recommendations on how to set things up and Scott helped make it happen. I stressed so much about having the venue for only 1 day so we decided to reserve it for 2 days. However, looking back with all the help that Gwen and Scott and their service staff do, we could have easily reserved it for 1 day. It worked out because we had rehearsal there that Friday and the wedding Saturday. This place is absolutely stunning, peaceful and you are surrounded by nature. The day of our wedding, we were given a treacherous rain storm. Sadly, we had to move our ceremony inside. However, it was still beautiful and there is always a plan B. Again, Gwen and Scott made this work! The entire wedding party was soaked head to toe. Gwen and Scott came to the rescue and gave us blankets and were mopping the floors to make sure no one slipped. The weather was unforgettable this day and I'm sure it's one for Diamond Oak books! From the beginning to the end, Scott and Gwen were helpful, responsive and a joy to talk to. We are so grateful for the both of them and their beautiful venue. We couldn't ask for better people and a better venue to get married at.

If you’re looking for the most gorgeous venue with the sweetest owners to help make sure your day is perfect then you need to reach out to Diamond oaks as I promise they will make it a day you will never forget!

We had our wedding at Diamond Oak Events and what a dream it was!! Gwen and Scott both allowed me to bring my wedding vision to life! I had many ideas for our day that were slightly unconventional to most weddings they host, and both Gwen and Scott allowed me to bring all my ideas to life! I did not hire a wedding planner, but I would consider Gwen a wedding planner! She helped us out so much and took away a lot stress on our day! Both Scott and Gwen are very knowledgable about weddings and helped us every step of the way! Scott is also so wonderful and nice! He is easy going and truly fun to work with! This wedding venue is one of the prettiest in the midwest! Thanks Gwen and Scott!

I filmed a wedding here last weekend - 5 stars is not enough! This place has it all. Gorgeous views, so much space, and every amenity for your guests and yourself that you could want! Not only that, Scott and Gwen obviously love what they do, and they're incredible hosts. Don't miss out! I especially love how open the barn is - it lets in so much light and makes for a very free-flowing reception.

I cannot tell you how much of a blessing it was to find Diamond Oak Events. Looking for venues in this area is hard enough, but to find a place that did EVERYTHING, and everything so well - we're beyond words.

1) The venue itself is just GORGEOUS. If I'm being entirely honest, I forgot all about the ceremony. Beyond discussing the content with our officiants, I never gave it a second thought. Scott and Gwen set up the seating, the sound system, and the alter area and it was ready. I didn't buy decorations, and it still looked amazing. Every single family we invited came up after to us and told us how perfect the ceremony was.
2) They provide so much. They provided a sound system, a trolley (which would have been a huge expense otherwise!), and plenty of decorations. We spent $40 on decorations total, for our entire wedding. They also provided all of the dinnerware and silverware and they cleaned it all up afterward!
3) They provided extra help for a small additional price. Our caterer didn't have people to clear tables, so Scott and Gwen found people to cut cake, refill drinks, clean tables, and help with anything, for a VERY reasonable price. When we asked if they knew anyone who could help emcee the reception, they found someone, and he did fantastic! We were so happy - and it definitely beat paying so much for a DJ. We had him for a few hours and then switched to a playlist, and we still had people dancing until the end.
4) They were so accommodating and easy to work with. Any questions we had, they found a solution. It was so stress-free - which was GREAT, because I had so many other things that I was stressing about! They were incredibly kind, we really couldn't asked for better people to help us out. They go above and beyond expectations!

On top of all that we had multiple people tell us that this was "by far the best wedding we've ever attended", I got texts throughout the weekend about how amazing the venue was. We HIGHLY recommend!!

My wife and I had our wedding at Diamond Oak Events in September of 2017 and had one of the best experiences of our life. Gwen and Scott were some of the nicest and easiest people to work with that I have ever experienced. Their attention to detail to make your wedding special and unique was incredible. Between the quick responses in prep of the wedding to the trolley ride home, this is one of the best venues out there. You might be able to find a cheaper venue out there but odds are you won't get the service and amenities that make this place worth every penny.
