Some of the nicest views in the desert are to be found here. I don't golf, but I have attended number of gatherings here and eaten at their restaurant, and it is quite good. This is an excellent place to hold small events of up to around fifty people.

Played both courses, Mountian View and FireCliff.

Mountian View was wonderful, played in a littlenover 4 hours, really enjoyable. Watch out for the bunkers though, some have extremely high faces. I was in a couple, and my friend couldn't see me, only saw the ball pop up out of it.

We then played Firecliff, this is where a problem popped up. They scheduled a tournament right in front of us. The players were extremely slow, could not finish the round. Called off the play at hole 16, too dark to see. This was also the first day of the course being opened after the refurbished. EXTREMELY POOR PLANNING on the part of the course management.

We couldn't get to play this course. You need to book 2 months in advance or there is no tee time. Instead, we had lunch here twice. The food is that good! The service is wonderful and welcoming. Getting a spot on the lower deck in the sun is difficult. There can be a long wait for that. The pro shop is also very well stocked and has lovely pieces. Bought a very nice golf top and bottom. Even if you don't get to golf here, you can't go wrong in feeding yourself here as a treat and looking out at the amazing view of the course. Next visit will be to try to get on the course!

Played the mountain course. Beautiful course in excellent condition. Found the greens do not roll true. Lines tend to be much straighter than the read.
People are all friendly and helpful.
Driving range and cart included with greens fee. If you are a resident of Palm Desert, I highly recommend you get a resident card from the recreation department. It reduces the greens fee significantly.
Excellent restaurant on site with beautiful views.

Such a nice afternoon of golf. From the staff loading clubs in carts to cleaning clubs post round it was memorable. Cartzy with two birdies and an epic chip in. The old G -Pa with some bomb drives and his typical WTH is he doing behaviour. Me and Nic causally dropping some long bomb drives to score in the low 80’s.

Course is not that hard. But it plays perfectly and conditions were fantastic for October. Greens were medium speed and overall not too hard to read. Very forgiving fairways.

Great course-fun to play. A few challenging holes kept me on my toes. Overall: Well kept-great environment and friendly/helpful staff! We hit up the practice area before our round as well! (A must!)

Having our wedding reception dinner here was honestly a highlight of the day for our guests. This patio is gorgeous. Everyone loved the food; staff was amazingly attentive and that VIEW as the sun goes down behind the mountains... ! Most importantly: planning a wedding is so stressful especially from thousands of miles away so huge THANK YOU to Natalie, Kati and Robbie for being so responsive to email communication and thorough in the planning and details.
