We recently stayed at Desert Rose Resort and Cabins in Bluff, Utah, on our way to Monument Valley and Page AZ, and our experience was overall satisfying. We checked in very late at around 3 AM, and while the front desk was closed, they had a key box with a code, which made the process easy and convenient.

The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, but they were quite small. The photos on Booking.com seemed to show resort rooms, which was a bit misleading compared to the standard room we got, especially for the price we paid.

There’s free breakfast with limited options, which was okay but not great. Bluff is a very small town with few options for breakfast or dinner, so the convenience was appreciated.

Overall, it’s a good stay, but the price feels a bit high for what you get. Still, it’s a convenient option if you’re visiting Monument Valley or passing through.

This is absolutely a lovely place. So charming! The feeling in the room is a warming home sweet home and cocooning with an amazing view in bonus! Everything is great quality in the room. We appreciated the total blackout provided with the blinds, this is even more enjoyable to open it the morning to discover these wonderful landscape. The personal are also very nice and thoughtful. The only sad thing is the restaurant being closed on the weekend.

We stayed for 2 nights for a visit to nearby Monument Valley. The resort is beautiful. The main building is a large wooden lodge but we stayed in one of the cabins. The cabin was comfortable and clean but had one major inconvenience… one side of the bed had neither a nightstand nor a reading lamp. We had to have the main overhead light on for my husband to read in bed and he had to walk over to the dresser if he wanted a drink of water, check the time etc during the night. A small thing but very annoying. The resort has just added another very attractive wooden building housing some more rooms and the pool complex. The pool is indoor and one of the largest hotel pools I’ve seen recently. Breakfast wasn’t great but they did provide china plates and metal cutlery (an exception for many hotels nowadays) so well done to them for that. The hotel restaurant was closed when we were there but we walked down to Comb Ridge and really enjoyed it. Good food and a good atmosphere. Staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly.

This was our 2nd year in a row staying here on our yearly vacation from Ohio. We absolutely love it! Beautiful location, wonderful rooms that are super clean, great views from the patio off of the room, and every single employee that we interacted with was 100% friendly and helpful! Your room actually gets cleaned every day. And the breakfast that is included is great too! One of my favorite things to do here is go to the beautiful, peaceful courtyard area and read and enjoy the quiet and scenery. We've stayed in a lot of really nice places, and this is definitely one of our favorites!

6 day stay, as lodging for dayhiking Cedar Mesa and Comb Ridge. The cleanliness, efficiency, and comfort were all top notch. The pool/hot tub were beautifully kept and housekeeping was 10/10 (i cannot emphasize this enough). The price was extremely reasonable. If I return to the area I will stay with them again.

Desert Rose, you truly are what your name implies. We had been driving a long time before arriving, and the hotel is beautiful inside and out. The rooms were cozy and warm- tastefully decorated. The indoor pool and hot tub were just what we needed after such a long day. The view from the indoor pool out to the San Juan River and the bluffs beyond was out of this world! We got to chill in the pool and watch the sunset and the stars come up. The grounds were well-kept, quiet, and walkable. Our only complaint is that the mattresses were lumpy and soft; they probably need to be replaced.

Had a great stay in cabin 4. It's beautiful, plenty of hot water, walk-in shower, microwave, and refrigerator. The bed was so comfortable after a long day of stress. I would recommend to in one that is visiting this beautiful area.

Stayed here for one night on our way to the Grand Canyon. This hotel/lodge is a little older, but the rooms were nice and clean. The views were beautiful and being in a small town, the area was quiet. Didn't get a chance to jump in the pool or hot tub, but they looked quite inviting.
