Went for some much needed R&R. Met the fabulous hosts Shayna and Marie, who made our stay with our friend group memorable. Ease of use from the large kitchen to the sound system to the hot tub. Feels more like a resort than a rental due to the spaciousness and lake views. We enjoyed the hot tub/fire ring in the night, heated pool in the day, and the game room in between. The hosts have thought of every detail. There was no need to leave the property. You will love this place! 🤩

We were fortunate to spend several nights at this impressive property in January of 2024. It is a pleasant surprise to come off the I 10 to this private resort oasis, which is less than a two hour drive from our home in Mission Viejo, CA. We came primarily for golf opportunities but the estate offers so much, it is difficult to leave! In the day, we spent time in the beautiful pool and hot tub, hiking around the property, fishing in the lake and reading outside. In the evening, we cooked delicious meals in the gourmet kitchen (very well equipped), enjoyed the extensive game room (pool, air hockey, shuffleboard, poker table, ping pong, darts - to mention a few possibilities). There is a great sound system and movie room. We would end the evening in a campfire setting by the 2 1/2 acre lake. You can gaze at the stars and have s’mores.

There is a possibility of sleeping 20 people comfortably with 8 bedrooms, 15 beds and 6.5 bathrooms. It would be a perfect venue for a wedding!

We had our wedding at Desert Ridge Estate Dec 3, 2022. While they're experienced at having weddings on site, you have to bring in ALL vendors and remain outdoors, including restroom trailers. For us, this was worth it as we could completely customize our vision and also so that we could stay with our wedding party on site all weekend. We live abroad and don't get to see our close friends often anymore, so getting to spend this quality time at the gorgeous estate was key. We held the morning after brunch around the pool. Everyone was blown away by how beautiful everything was. The house is super well equipped and we want to return with our wedding party for an anniversary reunion trip!

Our guest's cannot stop talking about how beautiful this venue is. It captured the exact vibe we wanted for our wedding. We didn't want a bunch of frills of decoration, we wanted a venue that speaks for itself and that is Desert Ridge.

The inside of the house just keeps giving and giving. So much thought and love has gone into the home and is filled so many great amenities that made our weekend stay so great.

Shayna and Marie (the owners) are so sweet and so easy to work with. The staff's professionalism and commitment to excellence make Desert Ridge Estates a top choice for couples seeking a romantic and memorable wedding locale.

My only (small) regret is not waiting a bit longer to get married because I found out they are expanding part of the land to include a bunch of outdoor activities (tennis, bocci ball, etc).

We recently had the pleasure of spending five extraordinary days at the Desert Ridge Estate for our wedding, and we cannot express enough how incredible our experience was. From the moment we arrived until the time we reluctantly departed, every aspect of our stay was absolutely flawless.

She went above and beyond to ensure that everything was in place for our wedding reception, wedding day, and even our post-wedding pool brunch. Her attention to detail and dedication to making our stay truly memorable were evident in every interaction we had.

Lenny, the groundskeeper, was an invaluable asset during our stay. He was not only friendly and approachable but also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Lenny provided invaluable guidance, sharing his expertise to help coordinate with our vendors effortlessly. Thanks to him, the load-in process for our vendors was a breeze, allowing us to focus on enjoying our special moments without any unnecessary stress. Lenny's support was instrumental in ensuring that our wedding day went off without a hitch.

We would be remiss not to mention the incredible amenities available at the Desert Ridge Estate. Everything we needed was at our fingertips, from the well-appointed rooms to the state-of-the-art facilities. The pool area was a highlight, providing a refreshing oasis where we could relax and unwind with our loved ones. It was the perfect setting for our post-wedding day pool brunch, creating unforgettable memories that we will cherish forever.

In conclusion, the Desert Ridge Estate surpassed our expectations in every way. It provided us with the most idyllic setting for our wedding, with impeccable attention to detail, a warm and caring owner, and an exceptional groundskeeper who made our experience seamless and stress-free. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone seeking a dream location for their special event. It truly deserves every single one of its five stars!

I can't say enough great things about hosting our wedding weekend at Desert Ridge Estate. We stayed there with our wedding party Thursday to Sunday, with our rehearsal there Friday afternoon/evening and the wedding on Saturday. We got so many compliments from our friends and family about how beautiful the property was.

In booking this venue, of course be aware of all the little details and vendors you need to book, as they don't provide anything other than the location. You'll need event insurance (understandable), to rent tables/chairs/etc, and a restroom rental/trailer if you have any sort of sizeable party. Since the property is so big, there aren't really noise restrictions, which was a huge perk for us.

We're hoping to come back every few years for our anniversary, that's how much we loved staying and being here! It's truly a hidden gem in the desert.

Basically a super high end VRBO: tons of beds, a great kitchen, I dining room table for a huge feast, hot tub, a huge game room, a freaking pond, a basketball court, kiddie splash pool, a putting green you could hold a whole wedding on, a wonderful infinity pool with a million dollar view, and REALLY good lemons.
