The room (suite) we stayed in was gorgeous, I want to start with that. The amenities in the room felt very much like a luxury suite, which was only slightly reflected in price. I would say the room price was under what you'd believe walking in. However, the rooms were not individually temperature controlled. The floor heating was cranked, and the in wall Mr. Cool look a like wasn't able to turn on. This led to an extremely hot room overnight for us. The desk said to let them know if we wanted an adjustment, which would work well for early to be folks, but as we were out late, the desk was already gone. It's absurd to think you can't change the temp in the room with a wall unit, then let the floor heating do it's own thing. We ended up opening the two windows and the patio door to try and sleep.

Our daughter was married at Della Terra last weekend & it could not have been more beautiful! Working with Rachel and her staff was amazing as they anticipated our needs and questions, being so polite and professional and FUN! The bridal salon was the perfect place to get ready & the beautiful natural light from the windows was amazing. We have received so many positive and wonderful compliments from our guests. Thank you Della Terra and especially Rachel and her staff!

We were fortunate enough to have our wedding at Della Terra and we seriously felt like royalty the entire planning process and the big day itself. The venue is stunning inside and out, private and exactly what we wanted for our special day. While nothing compared to Della Terra's aesthetic of all the places we considered, the real reason it shone was because of the staff. The entire wedding team is second to none. I cannot say enough about Annie. She was our main planner and she was absolute perfection. She was so kind and professional and made the planning so fun. She answered all of my (many) questions with a smile and handled my stress and jitters whenever they arose. She's detailed, knowledgeable and we knew we were in great hands from the moment we met her. On the Catering side, Karrie and Ryan made our menu and bar absolute perfection. Our guests are still commenting on how amazing the food was and how great our signature cocktails (created by Ryan) were. All the staff members of Della Terra that my new husband, our families and friends and I connected with always had a smile on their face and made us feel so incredibly special. If you're looking for a wedding venue in Estes Park or just an incredibly beautiful place to stay, I honestly wouldn't look anywhere else.

This is my dream wedding venue. Katrina has been nothing short of amazing and has helped us with the tours and booking process to make sure our dreams become a reality. While we were waiting for a tour we met Lawrence who was so helpful and kind. We are so lucky to have found this venue and are thrilled for our upcoming big day! We spent 3 nights here for a friends wedding and cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful place!! The staff was so kind, they went above and beyond and were absolutely delightful. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The wedding itself was beautiful, the grounds were well taken care of and gorgeous. We stayed in a chateau suite the first two nights and a cabin the third and both were fantastic! The chateau is romantic and the views from the rustic cabin were stunning. Not a single complaint. Definitely will come here again! The location is amazing only two minutes from the Rocky Mountain National Park, and 10 minutes from the adorable town of Estes Park. Tons to do and 4 days was not long enoigh!!!

I stayed in one of the cabins on site and was very underwhelmed by the service provided. After being sent an email promising us champagne on arrival we were told it was a mistake and basically tough luck, with no effort to make right on THEIR mistake. When we tried calling several times for a ride to the wedding venue as was an advertised service there was no answer. After calling 10 times I had to walk through a foot of snow uphill to the venue. Since the staff couldn’t be bothered to plow or shovel any snow it was not a pleasant walk. Then when going to the main building for breakfast we were RUDELY asked “are you guys even staying here?!” By the woman at the desk who checked us in herself. The wedding staff was good and friendly but the main hotel staff was rude and not very accommodating.

If you are getting married here, its wonderful. But unfortunately they were bought out by a wedding company they will try to pass as "family" owned. Della Terra will now offer this venue exclusively for weddings, no more romantic getaways here. So many couples returning for anniversaries, honeymoon or otherwise will now have to stay at a cabin down the street. Even during the slow months with less weddings, they don't appear interested in opening it to the public. So disappointed as I know so many couples are. So many couples who been here and married here previously know how different this place has changed over the years. I Feel bad for the staff who always greeted old couples as friends from weddings past. The venue will allow walks and "picnics" for old couples, but this is condescending in my personal opinion. To couples getting married there, I congratulate you on a choosing a beautiful venue. To the dozens and dozens of couples who are hurt by this news, I feel for you. Outside of Black Canyon, I cant really recommend anything even close to this on a romantic level. Even Black Canyon is a reach. Just stay in Denver and drive in for the day.
