We had an amazing experience here! We were their first winter wedding, and I think the price was very reasonable given the venue and everything else included. The owners were incredibly accommodating; we were probably messaging them frequently, but they were always kind, prompt, and responsive.

The house on the property is beautiful and spotless. We chose to rent it for two days, which worked out perfectly.

Marci was a pleasure to work with—she made everything seamless. As a small gesture, we also brought a gift for the house, adding a few extra board games and such, since they already had some great options. All in all, they did a fantastic job, and the whole experience was wonderful!

My daughter’s wedding was this past weekend, and I was so glad we picked Deer Ridge. Everything about the place was amazing! Having the house on the property is a huge plus. The girls stayed there Friday night and had their hair and makeup done in front of the big picture window for a great view. The bride and groom stayed Saturday night after the celebration. Perfect! The ceremony area was beautiful and held all 250+ that came. The barn and pavilion were amazing and also fit all the friends and family that came. So beautiful and peaceful out there. Marci and Ken and the others were so accommodating and helpful and if we needed anything, they were there and happy to help. I could go on and on but still couldn’t say enough good things about the place. To have such an amazing venue around here is just what we need. I so recommend Deer Ridge for any of your party needs. Five stars isn’t enough. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had the privilege of having a tour of this brand new Wedding & Event Venue, just west of Kankakee, in cozy unincorporated Limestone, IL.
They have put in lots of hard work turning this once over grown property into a warm Rustic Chicque Event Barn with onsite AirBnB vintage styled Farm Cottage house that is avail for rent with the rest of the venue for bigger events or separately for other times.

While cleaning up the home & land, they carefully reclaimed and repurposed everything the could, doors, windows, & furniture.
The pole barn Reception Hall has fairly even tree trucks for the main support poles, metal roof over wooden slatted roof, that brings all of the warmth of geniune Rustic charm to life!

Off to the side of the Reception Barn is the stone ruins of a possible feed or livestock barn. Just the stones remain, which sets the stage for impressive rustic Ceremony photos.

The farmhouse cottage is completely rehabbed, keeping many authentic peices & features in the home, such as original wood stairs, porcelain sinks, & several furniture items.

This charming place is a gem we have waited a long time for in this county community.
As a local Wedding Officiant, I cannot wait to bring many couples together in this amazing place!

What can I say, this place was top notch! We met the owner and he gave us a great tour of the property, helped us get the burn pit going and gave a history of the property. We highly recommend them and will definitely be coming back. I don't mind paying for a great product. Well done guys..

Absolutely stunning venue for my son’s wedding. The barn is beautiful and the remodeled farm house is absolutely perfect for the bridal party to get ready. Can’t imagine not renting that out for your event. Plenty of space, gorgeous landscape. Marci was amazing to work with throughout the whole process, and communication is fantastic. Felicity was also fabulous to work with on the days before and of the wedding! Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Couldn’t recommend these people or this venue more! Wish I could give 10 stars.

Marci, I just want to say how grateful I am to you & your crew. They were there with us Friday morning for most of the day, making sure we had everything we needed for set up and all day Saturday till the very end. Ken is a rock star & we appreciate all his help with cleaning up! The bar ran smooth & drinks were flowing all night. The grounds are just beautiful!! I'm amazed with all the work you guys have put into the venue in such a short amount of time. Mikayla & Corbin's wedding was just perfect. We couldn't have done it all without you guys. Thank you!!

I had my wedding here and everything was absolutely amazing!!! The venue itself is beautiful, the lights in the barn make it feel magical and with the added pavilion they were able to help us host our 250+ guests. Having access to the house for the weekend too was so great, as I didn’t have to worry about running late the morning of or cleaning up right after a long day. The owners went above and beyond in making sure we were taken care of throughout the whole weekend. I cannot say enough good things about them, I highly recommend!!!!!!
