Great hotel. Very quiet. Clean. The air conditioning and heating was great. Overall, the rooms were very comfortable. I stayed there many times over a 4 month period. Never had any problems. Breakfast is also available which was a plus. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

As expected for a 2 star hotel, the place was clean, safe, and the staff were very friendly and nice, would recommend as a stop on your journey - definitely not a luxury hotel, but good enough - breakfast wasn't too bad either - everything was convenient and easy - would stay here again 🙂

This was a stay for me, my husband, and son. We got a room with 2 queen beds. The 1st room we checked into had water all over the floor. The staff was good about getting us a new room right away. The room had a terrible smell. Black mold growing in the shower. The toilet was not attached to the wall/floor very well. It tipped forward with the slightest amount of weight. There was only 1 bath towel. They did bring us more when we asked. The towels were not the cleanest looking. They claim the rooms are non smoking. One of the bed spreads clearly had a cigarette burn in it. Also, one of our neighbors a few doors down, was sitting in his underwear, smoking weed, with his door wide open. Was talking on a cell phone to someone about shooting some people if they came around. This same man asked my son for a cigarette. Both beds were squeaky and very uncomfortable. It was all I could do to make myself climb into that bed. But seeing as how it was graduation weekend at Bama, the town was packed. We had no other option. The breakfast was inedible and looked like it could have been a few days old. The TV remote had no cover on the batteries. We had to hold the batteries in place to use it. But at least we had a remote. My mother-in-law was in the room next door and there was no remote for her TV. Her room was also smelly and moldy. If push came to shove, I would sleep in my car.

Thank goodness I paid more attention to the positive reviews than to the negative ones and chose to stay here. While I can only speak to the room we stayed in and facilities we used, I found none of the awful things mentioned in some of these negative reviews. To folks who mention peeling paint, refurbishment needed, “dated” furnishings, what did you expect? If you saw a picture of it, you know that it wasn’t built recently; Days Inn/Wyndham hasn’t built anything but big box motels in 20+ years so why on earth would you expect anything else? Our room was clean, roomy, well-lit (which the newest & priciest hotels are NOT), had everything we needed, and far more spacious than the new, high-priced hotel we had left in the Lake Travis/Austin, TX area. You are paying half of the rates charged by the newer hotels in the area but you expect the same rooms? ||The room was clean, comfortable, spacious, with all the needed amenities. The staff was friendly, courteous, quick and helpful. The location is safe with multiple dining options within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again. The only fault I found was the grade of the toilet paper and tissues; those could definitely use an upgrade. But for the price of less than $80 a night in 2024 prices, this place is a bargain and well-worth every penny.

You can tells it’s an older hotel, definitely some cosmetic updates are needed. It was clean, comfy beds, and staff was nice. Decent place to lay down. Huge room, 2 queen beds and got a coach too - and decent prices. Nice location right off the highway.
