Front desk attendant wasnt the friendliest when we checked in. First room we were given had a flooded bathroom. 2nd room was okay but when taking a shower the tub didnt drain well so you end up standing in 6 inches of water. Hot tub was great and worth the less than stellar rooms. Breakfast was ontime and good. The breakfast attendant was super friendly!

When we first checked in, I informed the front desk that I would be paying in cash instead of charging the card on file. Despite this, the clerk required me to provide an additional $100 cash as a hold for our stay, even though they already had my card on file.

During our stay, we attempted to use the hotel pool and spa, but the chemical smell was so overpowering that my son and I started coughing and had difficulty breathing. We had to leave after less than five minutes and return to our room.

When we got back to the room, we decided to watch TV, but it kept giving us an error message. When I called the front desk, I was told the TV service was down and wouldn’t be fixed until Monday, meaning we couldn’t watch TV at all during our stay.

On Sunday morning, when we went down for breakfast, we discovered the breaker had tripped, and no one had noticed. We had to ask Theo to restore the power. Since we weren’t sure how long the power had been off, we didn’t feel comfortable eating or drinking anything from the refrigerated section.

Stayed here before had a pleasant experience but called today booked a downstairs room as my knees can not do stairs, made that clear that i needed downstairs room and he assired me he did. Got there and he saus they dont have any down stairs and simply looked at me and said go.to another hotel. Never even tried to accommodate or offer to help.in any way
Piss poor attitude and will not stay here again

THE HOT WATER WAS NOT WORKING VERY WELL. I hade a tow bed room and for the first shower water was hot but the second shower was very cold. The hotel is fairly nice but I the hot water did not last long. You have to go up front to ask for the hot tub to get turned on. The rooms were clean, but THE TV’s WERE NOT WORKING. Only got 3 Chanel’s and they were all news from unrelated areas. The front desk was very nice and welcoming though. Great bang for your buck if you’re looking for a cheap hotel, I only paid 55$ for a two bed.

This is an older 2 story hotel with NO elevator. They put us on the 1st floor. The room was clean. We had an easy check-in. The carpets in the room and hallway were clean but need replacement.|The room had a working refrigerator and microwave as well as a coffee maker. The HVAC system worked well. There were decent sized garbage cans-not the usual tiny ones. There was no Kleenex in the room.|The breakfast was basic. It consisted of waffles, bread, apples, yogurt, and sweet rolls. There was no meat or eggs. There was no Equal or sugar free syrup.|The tub water pressure was strong! There was pooling of water around the drain.|My wife had air miles that needed to be used. I don’t know if I’d stay here and have to pay. But it was not a bad stay.

The service could be better. Waiting around for the guy to give me room keys because he was looking for the correctly number envelope for keys. It took awhile with him looking through all the envelopes. It was late. I just wanted to get to my room and have dinner. Pet friendly but charge $20/dog

If I could give this place a negative rating I would! Made reservations for me and my kids only to get there, and find out they don't accept debit cards! Nowhere on their site does it say that! Had to spend the next hour trying to contact Expedia to get a refund, because The hotel refused to give me a refund, forcing me to go to Expedia, so Expedia could call them and give me a refund. Then had to spend time trying to find another hotel to get into, ruining All of the plans that I had for that day! And the guy at the front desk was a condescending jerk!

Overall, decent for the price. Right next door to a starbucks & hyvee fast & fresh. The room was clean.. so sign of bugs. Smelled normal like a hotel room. Bathroom was pretty small, but clean & everything functioned well. There was a small fridge & microwave both we used & they worked fine & were clean. Bed was comfy, pillows kinda sucked.. but that's my opinion. Breakfast was pretty standard of a smaller mid range hotel. No complaints really, other than the fact we came from out of town & reserved this room on a prepaid debit card (we don't use bank cards or credit cards for fear of fraud & theft.) When we got there they told us they can't accept the card, even though the money had been already taken off it. He had a prepaid card in the amount of $400 for this trip. So they accepted a $100 cash deposit which was returned after our room was inspected. This tells me they have a lot of problematic customers & for that reason alone we'll be avoiding this place in the future. Must be a rough part of town.
