On GoogleMaps, price shows as $75. I get to the hotel and a room is $125. The other two hotels in town are old and sketchy at best so I had to stay here. I was in town for work and wasn’t sure how many days I needed so I asked if I could reserve a room for two nights and cancel the second night if I finished my work and went home. The manager said yes. The next morning I went to check out and the person said they couldn’t refund my second night because of a 24 hour notification policy. I told him I had already asked the manager about cancellation. He said he would leave a note and let the manager call me about a refund. No phone call. No refund. A room which was represented as $75 ended up costing me $225. Now for the hotel. The room I had was clean and seemed to have freshly painted walls, however my door would not lock to the outside. I did have a deadbolt and the swing over latch I used from the inside. I also barracked the door with the small table and chairs in the room to feel safer. Also, the mini fridge may a racket all night. If I ever have to work in Fordyce again, I will be driving to other towns to stay with honest hotels and to feel safer.

Ignore the roach comment. I've spent more than 150 nights in hotels this year, and not many I've been to have been as clean as this place. It may not be the ritz, but for a small town hotel, it's darn nice, new flooring, comfortable beds, a clean smell throughout, only drawback was they were out of waffle mix for breakfast!

Positive: better and newer of the only 2 hotels in this very small town. will probably choose to drive further and stay in Camden on our next family visit to have more updated facilities and coffee available after morning breakfast window Negative: breakfast not up to ?Hot? standards. for price would expect at least eggs and a bacon or sausage hot meal instead of hot water Grits and waffle batter

Roaches. Management rude|Manager rude told us to leave. Dirty. Told us to leave totally disgusting |Horrible sad. Shower don't work no costumer service no concern about sanity no care for customer safety mana called me a liar and a drunk after i showed him the picture of the coaches and showed him a new one on the showet he accused me of bringing it and I had nor unpacked

Roaches of various age groups in room 114. No shower curtain in the bathroom so water gets everywhere while taking a shower. The rooms ARE gross just like the common sense reviewers said. Breakfast was gross and unacceptable. When I turned in my key card, the manager shrugged off the fact of roaches. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK! Unless you like roaches and filth, then this is the place for you.

Check-in was easy, rooms were clean and everything electrical worked. The staff was friendly, beds were comfy, and breakfast was decent. Definitely recommend with two thumbs up!
