We checked into this hotel to find the room dirty. The bottom of my socks were black after walking across the floor. There was no coffee pot in the room. I proceeded to find out what the penalty would be had we left the next day only to be told that we would lose $100 in addition to the second night's rate. This took more than five phone calls to the front desk to get someone who could answer this question.

At check-in, I asked whether the room would be serviced daily with regard to washcloths, towels, toilet paper, etc., and was assured that these would be provided, but it wouldn't be cleaned unless we requested a cleaning. On two of the three days that we were there, we returned to find that we had no clean linens and no toilet paper. (This was after we called on the way out each morning asking for both.) I called the front desk and was told that they had come to the room, but we weren't there, so they didn't leave anything. He explained that only housekeeping staff would enter the room. When we called, the housekeeping staff was still making the rounds, yet they did not visit our room to provide these things.

I went down to the front desk to request these things again. I reminded the clerk that I was told upon check-in that these would be provided. He told me that sometimes they aren't provided due to availability. This was less than a pleasant stay, and we will not be visiting this location again.

The hotel was a little awkward to find. (It's behind the Shrimp Basket.) The night clerk, Lori, was exceptionally accommodating, moving me to a room that didn't smell like cigarette smoke and getting me hot water for tea late at night (since I didn't have a coffee maker in my room). The bed was very comfortable. Wifi was excellent. The room had been updated. Some things are hard to update. The bathtub was a little sketchy.

The room was okay. I noticed a couple of stains on the bed, but the bedding itself was clean. The floor where the bed meets the ground looked like it needed to be clean. There was a spot in the shower where it looked like something had been removed from the shower wall and the area wasn't cleaned properly. The smoke detector had been removed and the wires were hanging down. Aside from those things ( they were minor), the room was mostly clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower had great pressure. We also enjoyed the little pool. There was also a limited breakfast.

This has been the worst hotel stay in my life & my family & I have only been here for 2 hrs!! The pictures online is VERY deceptive!! Check in was at 3pm & I arrived at 3:50 to the room just now being cleaned!!! The floors were still wet from being mopped so there are track marks everywhere!! There is a huge crack at the bottom of the room door! The lighting is horrible!! No light switch with 3 filthy lamps!! We had flies & gnats in the room soon as we walked in!! Only 2 outlets to charge any electronics! We used a few towels so i went to the front desk to ask for more to only be asked how many towels did i use already!! She hesitantly gave me 2 more!! I paid for 3 nights but may only be staying 2 & thats only because i still want my kids to enjoy their vacation! PLEASE save your money & do not stay at this hotel more like a MOTEL!!! & not to mention it was very expensive & not worth a dime!!

I knew this place was not going to be good when I saw they take cash for deposit or the rooms itself.

Almost seems like a no tell motel.

Litter all over the exterior near the trees where you park. Musty smell if AC isn't on. Could be mold or mildew for all I know. Uncomfortable beds. Filthy linoleum floors. Don't be fooled. My towels turned black from me wiping down after my shower.

Dirty wash rag from the previous guest was left on curtain rod. Need to replace outlets. Worn out. Need to replace weather stripping on doors. Way too much daylight going through causing the room to lose coolness. And let bugs in. Like I had. Sidewalks can definitely need a pressure wash as well as the stairs because they are filthy. I didn't even bother looking at their "breakfast". This is a poor excuse for a Wyndham franchise owned hotel. Especially for the expensive price per room and it doesn't matter how close it is to the beach they definitely need to work on this hotel and put some quality before quantity.

The only positive aspect was that there are plenty of places to eat nearby and the housekeeper was always smiling.

DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE!!!! Worse place ever! Everything seemed fine until people we cat calling and screaming at me and my family.. people camping out in lawn chairs outside doors. Walked in and immediately smelled gross and moldy.. beds had stains, floors were NASTY, nasty brown stuff all over walls, poop all in the toilet, bugs in window sill, crumbs in bed, bed frame had smear marks of god know what, moldy bathrooms, and pictures DO NOT MATCH what it actually looks like. Another girl was behind us and had issues too with mold on the bed and wouldn’t give her a refund even though she had a baby!!! Stayed for maybe 10 minutes.. lady upfront was very nice and helped! Manger on the other side.. very rude screaming at us and wouldn’t give us any help than to have someone check out the rooms.. seems they have had this issue before. Please check rooms immediately after checking in, their policy is 30 minutes thankfully we made that time!

Set behind other buildings gives creepy vibe. When going to front desk was not informed of breakfast times, check out times no information provided just a key laid on the counter since the lady at the desk was talking to a friend or family. Then get to the room, room ac works well, but room looks recently renovated but not well alot of work left incomplete, few bugs in the room, bathroom filthy, shower barely drained.

The room was very dirty, the floor, walls, door, etc… The mirror was broken, the TV didn't work. Apparently the housekeeper only makes the bed and changes the towels. Even the hallways were very dirty and the lobby too. I don't recommend it and I definitely won't be back.
