This has been the worst experience I've ever had at a Wyndham property. I travel frequently for work and normally like this chain because it's affordable and dependable. Not at this location.
The rooms were relatively clean. There was hair on my toilet seat, long and short, and stains on the bedding and towels. The bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable amd the room reaked of some kind of cleaner. I had to leave the door and window open to let it air out for a couple of hours to even stand to be in there. Other than that, the room did seem to be pretty clean so I chose to look past those things. However, the pool and hot tub were absolutely disgusting. When I asked when the last time they were cleaned I was told by the manager that they were cleaned on Saturday. This was on a Monday. There were piles of dirt on the bottom of the pool and hot tub, and the hot tub had green water.
They advertise that there is free breakfast and when I went down in the morning I was told that there wouldn't be any breakfast until "maybe sometime next week". After all of that, I canceled the remaining days of my stay and got a refund.
While going back and forth with the manager about all of this he told me that if I wanted any additional information about the cleaning of the pool and hot tub I would have to call the police and they must request it. Are you serious? Call the police? There is no way this place would pass health code and I have contacted the health department and reported them. I wish I could attach pictures to this review to show how disgusting everything was. There are many other hotels on this strip within walking distance for the same price that are much better. I picked this one because it was a name I thought I could trust. I was completely wrong. Please, spend your money elsewhere.

We were traveling for work. We often stay at Wyndham properties however this was one of the worst.
When we checked in I had accidentally booked thru Wyndham for the wrong date. The man at the counter fixed this so that was great. We were never told where our room was, he said my room number out loud (which there was nobody in the lobby but still not okay) and we weren’t told where stairs or elevators were. When walking around I noted breakfast from 7am-11am, and with having traveled several hours that’s why I booked where I did. A reasonable rate for a room with breakfast.
When we walked by the pool and hot tub to our room, they were FILTHY. I wouldn’t go in them. That was disappointing as well.
The rooms around us were insanely loud. You could hear EVERYTHING. The room was clean but the beds were terribly uncomfortable.
The next morning we awoke to get back on the road, and went up to the lobby. We sat for 10 mins before 7am, and at 7 got up to open the door for breakfast. The man said “we only serve coffee. We don’t have breakfast. Something came up last night so we won’t be having breakfast.”
After reading several reviews this has been the same story for several weeks. I come from a long while of working hotel management and this etiquette is NOT it. You let your guests know AT CHECK IN. This is the whole reason why we booked this specific one. We were not even given a discount even tho the next morning we had to go spend a minimum of $30 on breakfast for my family since we paid for a hotel that had breakfast. I do not understand why we weren’t told about it - in Wyndham training that is one of the things they shove down your throat about checking people in. However this seems to be an ongoing issue with this specific hotel. I’d like some of my money back.

I had the pleasure of staying at Days Inn Chula Vista recently, and it was truly a wonderful experience. A special shoutout to Manager Sam, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication to guest satisfaction really stood out and made us feel valued.||The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The location is ideal, with easy access to local attractions and great dining options. Breakfast was also a delightful start to the day!||Thanks to Sam and his amazing team, we had a memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again!

We booked this hotel for 5 days the very next day we wake up in time for breakfast 7am-10am we get down there at 8:30am and the front desk lady said "something happened last night so we are unable to serve breakfast" and she does not know if they'll have breakfast available for tomorrow either. Then I proceed to tell her we specifically booked hotels with breakfast then she responded by saying "its not a full breakfast we only serve cereal and bagels" Needless to say they did not have breakfast available for our entire stay there. Then the power went out on our 3rd day so we had to shower in the dark, unable to charge our phones, no AC etc. Also, the TV kept glitching and freezing on and off for the 5 days we were there. Definitely the worst Days Inn we've stayed at. I recommend calling before you book because they will not tell you when you check in that breakfast is not available.

Everything was clean and quiet. No disturbances and felt safe. Very close to the bar scene and the border for those who are interested. Could not be happier with the stay, great place to decompress. Got plenty of time to read and do some writing before heading downtown for some R&R.

The first issue we had was the lack of breakfast. When we book a hotel, we do it with certain criteria, like breakfast included. We got there and were told that the breakfast room was out of commission. Then we had to fight them for a discount now that we were going to have to spend $15 a person for 5 people at the restaurant next door for 5 days.
The pools that we were assured were heated that again were in our hotel criteria ... they were not heated. Ice cold water. Never got to use the pools the entirety of our stay.
Towels were a chore to get. At one point I went down to the front desk to complain about something else, and a woman wanted to exchange her dirty towels... They told her they didn't have any more, that something was wrong with the washer? Or the laundry staff wasn't there? Wasn't really clear, but they seemed to offer her a single bath mat instead of the four towels? She took her dirty towels back.
Also while I was down there, I heard the front desk person answer a phone call from a guest in their room who had just found out there was no breakfast after they had checked in.
The first thing I noticed about the room was the filthy, disgusting floor. Gobs of hair, dirt, dust... Everywhere. We had gotten to our room late, so the next morning I went down to the front desk and let them know the floor was very dirty. I said, you don't need to clean the room, we don't need our beds made, we just need the floor washed.
I also told them the tub was not draining. They said they would have maintenance come.
We left for the day. Came back to them having touched all kinds of stuff in our room, having cleaned it, made the beds, etc. The drain in the tub was fixed, but the floors were still disgusting.
I went back to the front desk, and showed them pictures of the first night, and of this morning. I showed a video of me taking a swipe of the floor with a washcloth to show them how black the floor was. Front desk person decided to argue with me how the floor was washed, but that the dust gets into the cracks? Something about using a machine? Idefk... But it was bs. The floor made my feet black, my socks black. I had to wash my feet walking from the bed to the bathroom. So he says, ok, I will make sure it is washed tomorrow.
We stayed in the next day to make sure they didn't touch our stuff and that they actually washed the floors...
A woman comes in with a stick with like 4 towels attached to the end. No bucket. Not any actual mop. She slids the towels across the entire floor, from toilet room, to vanity, through the bedroom, then into the other room with the "kitchen" area, by the other bed, to the front door... All with this one stick of towels, no rinsing the towels, no sweeping, no scrubbing, just sliding these dirty towels over the floor. I got back to the gobs of hair and the dirt and dust and point them out to her.. she acts like I'm crazy. She swipes at them, tells me she can't clean them and leaves. I take another washcloth and wash the floors myself from the front door to the bathroom so at least we have a walkway that won't ruin my socks or feet. Two pairs of my socks are completely stained forever after washing. The washcloth was black but I just didnt have the energy to go fight with the front desk person again.
Water sounded like it ran down our walls all night or like our room was next to HVAC or something. Very loud constant white noise that drove us all crazy.
The toilet ran off and on.
The water pressure was HORRIBLE and the water temperature was incredibly finicky, going from ice cold to scalding.
So you are wondering why I gave it 2 stars?
The room was incredibly spacious. I never felt trapped in it. The beds were comfortable. The noise from the neighbors wasn't horrible. The elevator worked. The parking lot felt safe.
I wouldn't stay here again, especially how I was treated like I was crazy for wanting clean floors by the front desk and the housekeeper.

The Woman who checked us in was very pleasant and nice! Our first few hours were great.
Then I was checking to see how late the Hot tub was open and the Man working said it was under maintenance. There was no indication it was under maintenance, if I just went in without asking the time, I would have never know.
Got up in the time frame for breakfast that is listed on the website and on their sign inside the office 7-10 so I go to get breakfast and the Man says there is no breakfast it's under maintenance.
Ok the only reason I chose this hotel was for the breakfast and the hot tub. I am really upset about it not being told to me when I booked I would not have come here. Also hair is everywhere in the room in the tub on the sheets and I went to make coffee and an old tea bag was still in the coffee maker. We were on the 4th floor so took the elevator and it scared us so bad it got stuck and made loud noises and banged us around for a second and we were stuck in it for a bit before the doors finally opened. Needless to say we took the stairs the whole Time
There are things I can overlook but this is not ok when I payed for these thing specifically. Also in reading a review from someone else about room conditions and breakfast, the owners reply in saying they are taking immediate action to resolve these issues. Was not true. They did not resolve a thing. Do not come to this hotel!!!!!
