D&D is an Italian specialty grocery store. That means a specialized in specialty Italian groceries including meats and cheeses and sauces and everything that's top quality Italian. There have been in business since 1944 and deserve a visit just to see all of the historical photographs and artifacts that they have on their premises for your enjoyment.

I don't often post reviews on Google, but this place absolutely deserves it. It's the real thing - an old-school Italian deli with warm service, great people, and even greater food. They are so old-school, they don't even have a sandwich combo on the menu - you'll have to grab your chips and soda separately. But the "Guido" is possibly the best Italian sandwich I've ever eaten. I live in Northern Indiana and stop by here every time I'm on my way to ORD. It's the perfect antidote to yucky airplane food.

My family has been going to D&D for years. Places like this are becoming hard to find as the time goes bye. You cannot go wrong with anything that you buy from here. The Guido is a one delicious sandwich, the Italian sausage whether hot or mild is excellent for spaghetti or mostaccioli’s or whatever you feel like making with Italian sausage. And don’t forget the cheese Parmesan and or provolone they got it all.

Amazing place!! Brought my mom here while she was visiting she was so happy! It brought back memories of her childhood all of the wonderful products she found. Very friendly people.
