This family owned local candy shop offers the best candies ever! They make it themselves, and u can taste the tradition and the fresh ingredients. The Australian chocolate covered ginger is a-ma-zing! Def worth the $$ and a trip to the burbs! Next will try their homemade ice cream, hear it's great, too! And they're always so friendly!

A visit to Cunis Candies is a whole experience!! From the moment that you enter the store and smell the sweet delicious goodies, you know that you're in for a treat. It's a trip back in time when things were made naturally from scratch with love and attention. Not to mention the kindness of Mary and John. I usually get a Sunday boat with Chocolate, Strawberry, Banana, and Peach ice cream. The ice cream is so great that I never get the toppings. Also, their chocolate dipped banana ice cream bars are heavenly. Mary even got me to try their Black Walnut ice cream, which I'm normally not a fan of. But, it was delicious Stop by Cunis for a refreshing treat and great service!

It was a long time since I have been here. I frequented the place back in the 90's when I was in college. I happened to be in the neighborhood, so I decided to swing in. I was surprised to see the place still looked the same which brought back a flood of memories. I chatted with the owner for a few minutes. Found out that the store is still in the family (4th generation owner). You just don't really see this anymore. I bought a shake and bought a bag of candy. The shakes and candy were as good as I remember. The service was as friendly and as good as I remember. If you're in the South Holland area, I recommend stopping in for a shake and a few pieces of candy. I need to make a note to stop in more often myself!

First time being here and I LOVE IT! The moment I walked in here I was AMAZED by the various candy on display. It was almost hard to choose what to eat. The ladies were very friendly and kind. Definitely a 10/10

The daughter was huffing and puffing because I had to wait on my sister to send me some money . It was only 6pm and they close at 8pm. The mom also seems impatient at times. . Your charging me for candy & I want to make sure im not going over my limit. I’m the only patient and you always expect to know what i want right away . Thats not always possible.

Handmade Ice-cream shop that offers a variety of flavors. They also have Italian Ice, Gummies, and a large variety of chocolate candy. Indoor seating is available. Staff is pleasant. Located in a strip mall with ample parking. I've ordered the peach, banana, cherry, strawberry, and sherbert ice cream. I've ordered the strawberry Italian ice. Today, I ordered a banana split with strawberry and vanilla ice cream. Everything has been delicious.
