I’m from Detroit visiting family and we decided to get a quick takeout meal. We ordered fried pork chop dinner, catfish sandwich and a 2pc catfish.
I don’t know how it’s done in Chicago but catfish sandwich comes with 1or 2 pc filet on a pc of bread with fries. Not a piece of squared fish looking like it came from McDonalds.
The fried pork chops came smothered even tho we ask for fried. We were told we had to request no gravy.
The 2pc catfish was not seasoned but ok
Management was not accommodating at all.
Please ask questions and be specific when ordering if it’s your first time.
The food is nothing to shout about and I will not be visiting this establishment again .

I’m giving 2 stars because for the most part my food has been hot and fresh. However, imposing fees/surcharges on customers to use their debit or credit card is unacceptable. I will no longer patronize this restaurant because of that. Also, during my last visit I asked to have mild sauce on the side and they drenched my food in mild sauce. It was a waste of $8 because I didn’t eat it and couldn’t return it because I had returned to work.

i ordered a 6 wing. the wings were pre-fried or yesterdays wings. the wings wasnt crunchy. they were soft like KFC original chicken. Parts of the wings were dark, still had pieces of feathers and handed me a luke warm can pop.

i swear if i could give this place -5 stars i would. thr absolute worst chicken wing purchase i ever had.

They have an extensive menu, but if you go after 12 midnight on a Friday night, the only thing they serve is chicken
wings. I had 6 wings and way too many fries, $11.00

One word 'Fye'. I had Red Beans & Rice, Catfish Steaks and Cornbread. I said it 'Fye' but not New Orleans 'Fye'

Food is terrible!

Smothered Pork Chops were tough as leather! Catfish dinner. Fatty all tails no seasoning. Spaghetti , horrible.
Terrible. I’ll never go back.

I’m not a garbage can. Why do we as black people just accept anything.

They cook shrimp , fish, and chicken in the same oil without disclosing to customers despite some people having allergies

First time visiting here and the male employee working the drive thru at night is EXTREMELY RUDE !!! We Left And Took Our Business ELSEWHERE !!! First Impressions Are Important And He Failed MISERABLY !!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡
